Took a killer leg shot

Good to go. Bit of a bruised bone and a little bit of infection but no clot thank God. If I did have one the Dr. said I would have had to go on blood thinners for 6 months and not have been able to train at all.

Good news. Can you be specific about how the doc diagnosed a bone bruise w/ infection? Did he aspirate the trapped blood? Or just diagnose based on a visual inspection?

X ray, ultrasound...and as for the infection there is a red mark which is warm, which she said is usually the sign of infection.

Funny you ask, it wasn't healing very well. I had to get it cut open and drained yesterday and they changed my antibiotics.

But in good news my trainer won this saturday by KO, 1st round.

Damn man, that must have been a bitch. Was the blood trapped deep, or superfical? How big of an incision did the doc have to make? And what antibiotic did they switch you to? I know, details. Only because I'm in the medical field, and also train MT. I'm surprised this doesn't happen to more guys.

Trapped pretty deep I guess because when they opened it not much came out just a little puss.

It was a pretty shallow incision but she also stuck me with a syringe to try to "deroof" the wound??

She changed me from Keflex to Ammoxicilin.
