I don't mean to bitch, but I just went to a Dr. who I got off of the Americn Anti-aging physician board and I just got totally dissed. He came into the room took one look at me and said " I thought you would be older." By looking at me and then only taking my vitals and nothing else, no blood work or anything. He said he would put me on Wellbutrin and give my a sleep study and that is all he would do for me. Son of a Bitch! I am 32 and I have all the signs of needing hrt, but he wouldn't even listen to me. Sorry to snivel but holly shit this has pissed me off. I tried to do the right thing and have a face to face with a Dr. as to not do anything illegal, but now I see why people do the over the internet stuff, or go black market. Oh well, has anybody else run into this and what did you do? Thanks for lettin' me bitch, Sono' Mods, I am sorry for the language and if I get banned I understand, I am just upset. Once again sorry if I have offended anyone.

If you are really pissed, you can write a letter to the state medical board. They take complaints seriously enought I think. I have a license from a different state board (Engineering) and every year I get a list of all the licensed engineers who were disciplied for something.

Regardless, it will create some sort of hassle. Wait util you get your blood tested, because if you are low and diagnosed with hypogonadism or a tumor in your pituitary or something, this is more ammunition for you.

Go to www.pubmed.gov and search for testosterone replacement and similar.

You need to see a Urologist and get tested. I am 37 years old and on TRT.

He's right about this, but a letter will do nothing. Even with so-called damages to show, it's still a judgement call; you have no leverage in this. People (patients) don't get that physicians are inculcated with the 'dissing' of patients and other inferiors through their training. This is reinforced by most of society, esp. the media, kissing their collective butts.

Unless you get lucky (note the market control), you will do your HRT through the black market or pay handsomely for the privilege of explaining HRT to an ignoramus with prescribing privileges.

Their are many individual exceptions but physicians in general and esp. as a group, are selfish, self-centered and pretty much respect only money and power. They will lie and sell-out the best interests of patients and society as a whole to maintain their power, usually falling back on 'patient advocacy' as a primary argument. Anyone who has to deal with these individuals, as a patient or othwise knows what I mean.

You were really given a bum's rush. My Dr spent a lot of time with me and made no decisions until a very thorough blood testing was done and I had been on a low fast sugar diet for 6 weeks.

Then I got my test, hgh and a-dex.

Locate a compound pharm near you and ask them which Drs they are filling test scripts for.

That Dr is an idiot . The miminum age requiered for any hrt clinic you see online and most face to face is 30.

You can always have your bloodwork done. Review with yor Regular doctor. And get your supplies "Elsewhere". You DON'T need an "HRT specialist".
Half the guys I know do it that way. The anti-aging clinics gouge you and are
NOT necessary. Provided your know how to read your numbers.

i would be on an operating table about to have heart surgery and i would never disclose that i had injected an illegal substance into my body..

it goes into your history file, and future insurance companies, and mew employers have access to it..

and in some cases.. the doc is required to notify police..

think about it..

you come in and you are having a seizure from doing heroin.. they commit you... they have too...

just saying it can get really ugly..

good luck..

I never said anything about injecting any substances into my body, where did you get this from? Anyway, I have contacted SBR and had a blood test done. They said my test levels were a little low but in range. However my free test levels they said were very low. How does that work? Oh well, they are going to put me on HRT to get my free levels up. This makes me want to go shove that in the first Dr's face! So yeah for me!

Please let us know what you are prescribed,
and if the diagnostic/prescriptive process includes diet, exercise and recovery recommendations.

There is always a lively discussion about the components of a "HRT Program". I believe is must include all the above, not just some drugs. Especially diet and now recovery ... we all seem to know how to exercise ourselves into the ground.
