Too much vitamin c?

I bought some twinlab c-1000 tabs. They contain 1000mg of vitamin c in 1 cap. Would taking 3 of these a day (1 at breakfast, 1 at midday, and 1 before I go to bed) be too much?
 
If you shit out like a citrus fruit after then it may be overdoing it :)

I take 3 grams of vitamin C on training days and 2 grams on off days and have not had issues personally. From what I have read Vit C is water soluable so you piss out the excess. Keep your water intake up.
 
Unless you buy the time released, which is more expensive. 1,000 mg at a time is a lot, and while it won't be harmful, much of it will be pissed out. I take at least 5 vitamin c's daily, but I take the 250 mg and 500 mg versions. 3,000 mg is fine, maybe break them in half, and take half a pill 6 times a day. I eat 5 or 6 meals a day, so I just pop vitamins with my meals. I like to have vitamins at all times entering my body. Like my vitamin says take 3 capsules with food. I take all 3, but with 3 different meals.
 
You can take as much as 6,000 mg a day without any adverse effects besides loose stools. Pregnant women are the only people who shouldn't take that much, because it can cause miscarriage. (Doesn't look like you need to worry about that. :)

I take 3 1,000 mg tabs per day and have never had a problem.
 
Just like others posted, the worst thing that'll happen is you'll shit your pants.

I take 2000mg twice a day, and on training days I take an extra 3000mg with my post-workout shake. That's 7 grams, no adverse effects from me.
