Here is another, depressing but then most of Nostradamus stuff is:

'The Sun turned pitch black and the whole Moon turned blood red. And the stars in the sky fell on the Earth, as green figs are dropped by the fig -a tree in a stormy weather. The sky opened and all the mountains and islands moved from their places. Then the emperors of the Earth, the rulers and the leaders, the rich and the powerful, the slaves and the free men hid themselves in caves and behind rocks in the mountains shouting to the mountains and the rocks: Fall over us and hide us from the Lamb's rage because the great day of the lambs arrived.'
The fragment above precedes the descent of the seven angels from the ' Apocalypses' of Saint John the Teologist and represents, perhaps, the most well-known prophecy about the End of the World.'
'The Psalter' distinguishes between 'the Messianic Kingdom' ( of a 1,000 years ) and the time when the Divine Judge will reveal himself. But, whatever the expectations, the year 2,000 is considered to represent, a crucial moment for the entire world. '
But, ' when the 1,000 years period will come to an end, Satan will be set free from his prison, and he will come to tempt the nations in the four corners of the world, on Gog and Magog, and to bring them to war' (John, chapter 20/7 and 8)
Will this happen in the year 2,000?! Signs in the sky and on the Earth seem to show us that Satan has already been unchained. But let us see the prophecies of Nostradamus.
'If the course of History will not turn away from the laws that govern its clinical development - and we do not see any reason why it would - then around the year 2,000 we will find ourselves exactly at the moment when a recrudescence of Jerusalem could revive, of that Jerusalem which once dominated Europe and a major part of the West, almost until the end of the first millennium. The great cycle of the migration of people could be repeated as well, similar to that from 2,000 years ago, which put into motion the hot and destroying sands of Asia. A favorable wind would be sufficient for the yellow cloud of sand to threaten the West again.'
