to the guy who mayhave got busted

(I tried posting in same thread oops):p
I believe that if your package was addresed to you and someone else opened it, as it had your name on it they broke the law opening it in the first place, have the postmaster file charges on the asshole who opened it and turned it in to autheritys instead of giving to you, I'd wanna kill the bastard. Also to be safe I'd delete any adresses gear related on puter save to disks and give to friend to keep, don't wanna take the chance of others going down if in fact they continue to pursue the charges, talk to an attorny.

What asshole would open someone elses mail to see what it was, and then call the postmaster when it wasnt something they wanted??? Think about that. I think that the possibility exists that the postmaster is lying about the particulars concerning how he obtained the package. Especially if INJECTED1 is right about them not having the authority to have something tested, yet he is saying thats what he did. How long was it before he told you that it tested positive for anabolics? There is a quick field test for E, but I dont think one exists that covers "anabolics." Is there really a test that gives back the results "Not sure if its Dbol, Winstrol, Anavar, Methyl-Test, Anadrol, or Primobolan, but its one of them." ?

He probably either (1) tested it for E with the field kit, found out it wasnt E and then asked someone else what it could be OR (2) someone else who has actually seen a drug before (and not just learned about them in some law enforcement seminar) told him what it probably was and the postmaster just wants you to believe that he knows a lot more than he does.

If the guy called you up and said "We got your shipment of Dbol here, what is it, the kind from Thailand? Pretty good shit." Id be thinking "Fuck, Im toast." But when he doesnt even know what it is and starts guessing, you kind of lose that helpless feeling. Its funny how whenever law enforcement finds a pill that they cant identify they always scream ecstasy, like all of sudden theyre hip to the game. But when its not E, it just makes them look like an idiot, and who is gonna confess to someone who they perceive as an idiot?

If someone really did call him, I would make that asshole sorry he ever opened that package.

FIRST OF, A POSTMASTER DOES NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO HAVE SOMTHING TESTED. ANYTHING THAT LOOKS ILLEGAL HAS TO BE TURNED OVER TO AUTHORITIES.

This relates to all domestically (US) sent packages.

No, Postal regulations dictate that the Postmaster immediately contact the Postal Police (Inspectors) for all matters that relate to contraband, bombs, and any other illegal shit.

And, if you think that a Postal Inspector doesn't have the right to do his job, you should wake up and smell the coffee, bro.

Postal Inspectors are federal police that have quite a bit of autonomy when it comes to anything that moves through the USPS system. They can and will bend you over and slam you if you are caught breaking the federal laws as it pertains to the postal system.

Tony,

I agree with the advice to get an attorney but I disagree with the recommendation to try to get charges filed against the person who opened the package.

Best thing he can do is lay low and not make himself a target. While I appreciate the sense of justice, he would be much better off staying quiet.

Man my english is bad! I just re read my post last night and looks like a 5 yr old typed it I was sober to!, sorry to lazy to use spellcheck, yes pursuing charges would not be good, just stirring mud. Taking care of an asshole that opened would be better with a ski mask and a brick to bash in the assholes skull

I would simply deny ordering anything. Being held accountable for what people send to your box is a little crazy, after all if its that easy to get someone in trouble, I will start sending shit to my EX and then report her.

On a side note persueing charges against the person who got and opened you mail to me indicates that you did order it and I would simply deny ordering anything and let it all go.
