Hey Man,
you'll get better responses in the diet forum... That's why we got it...
You really gotta get your ducks in a row before you start on a cycle. Not to dog on you man, but you've been asking a lot of questions that you really should have asked and figured out before you started your cycle.
It's better to have a full plan in place, especially when approaching a cutting cycle... Things are much more sophisticated.
No one can tell you a definitive answer of where your macros should be... It depends from person to person.
My macros change from day to day... Week to week sometimes... Just depends... Your body adapts and you must figure out how to thwart that adaptation process.
I'm cutting too... Some weeks my macros may be 50% protein 45% fat 5% carbs, may at sometimes be 85% fat, 15% protein, 60%fat 40% protein... 40% protein, 30% fat, 30% carbs... Sometimes 50% protein, 40% carbs, 10% fat...
Just depends my man. Only thing is I don't mix high fat macros with high carb macros.
I believe that carb intake should be based on daily energy expenditure. I think carb intake should be based on what you are doing during the day, how much cardio, how intense of training... However there are no absolutes.
Right now my fat intake is low, protein is really high, and I'm ingesting only high GI carbs before, during, and after training.
Sometimes I may really boost the fat intake in the form of EFA's, 125-150g all low to medium low GI carbs, and high protein.
It just depends man. But the most important factor is to base carb intake on energy expenditure. Get enough protein to be anabolic. Take in mainly EFA's.
