I think that Steroid use among athletes is the reason why they were criminalized in the first place. Continued use by athletes is part of the reason enforcement will continue at this rate. The reason why noncompeting users will continue to go to jail.
The guys who take steroids and then enter an arena of competition, are the ones fucking it up for the rest of users who DON'T compete...
Thats not to say that if you use Steroids you shouldn't practice a sport you love. But I think it does mean that you should keep your involvement to that, JUST PRACTICE. You should not step into an playing field against another competitor while cheating the rules of the sport/league... Even if he is.
I know it sucks to have morals and standards that keep you honest when you have to compete against cheaters. But cheating like they do to level the playing field for yourself is still wrong and creates and escalating problem.
Thats my humble opinion on the subject.
I agree 110% with the above. However I disagree with you. I believe that 90+ % of ALL pro athletes juice or cheat in some chemical way. Maybe Im a pesimist. I think I'm a realist.
And no I do not compete. Im not talented enough to be a pro with or with out enhancement.
