tiring out too fast during work outs

fatkid

New member
I have been eating pretty well lately, and working out steadily for about 3 months. I have made pretty good gains in size, and fat loss. But I am tiring out too much during work outs. Like when I do chest, I will do flat bench, and when I do the next set, it will be so hard. It is like I have no endurance at all. Am I not getting enough carbs or something?

Also, I have hit a plateu with strength, any tips besides switching exercises?

Thanks

could also be lack of cardio vascular conditioning.
Or the lack of rest time between sets.
Or using to much weigth.
Or planning the pre workout meal to far away.
Or not sleeping enough.
Or ......
:p

yep,if your carbs are too low then you won't be able to hit it hard or even get a pump in the gym.also if you feel like you are getting enough carbs you might want to do some type of cardio to give the the heart a workout, the weights will build your muscles but cardio will strenghen the heart........try it

I would recommend eating more carbs before you work out and getting some sort of carb drink to consume while you workout because it sounds like you aren't getting enough during the day.

Could be not enough carbs, fat OR protein.

But it might just be the way your body is. For example, I can bench a certain amount for say, 8 reps.... wait two minutes, same weight.... and I can only do 5 or 6.... two minutes later, same weight.... and I'm down to 2 or 3.

I dunno why it's like that. I wasn't sure if it was normal, but some guys on this board said some people just have different endurance than others.

As long as you're fatiguing the muscle, shouldn't matter how much you're lifting if your nutrition is right.

I think it might not be enough carbs, because I am doing a shitload of cardio, because I have to get ready for my Rugby season. I try to eat a lot of them now, at first I was kinda dumb in my weight loss, I know carbs are important but I didn't eat a lot of them. I am taking creatine, but I have not taken B complex, what does that do? I am kinda new into the supplement thing, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Becuase of my class schedule I have to work out Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. But I run every day, and I have pretty good endurance running.

Also take into consideration that I have to eat dorm food, so my options are kidnda limited

Thank you for you help.
