One of my guys that I've been working with got on the scale today. He LOOKS like he has lost about 15 pounds...but actually he has gained 10!!!

Before I had to leave work today and go to the Dentist (yuck) he already set a Clean and Jerk 3RM PR with 225 and was going up again to see if I could hit 235-245 x 3. He makes progress every single week, his throws are up, and he never misses a day...amazing.

We are working on his form on the Clean and Jerk. He isn't super coordinated so the OL Lifts come a little difficult to him. With time though...

he must be getting some big pop now on his throws

one of our female throwers was okay her jr year, started doing more olypic lifts, and qualified for nationals then next year

Sounds like you are doing away with the bad mass and building the good! Nice work... The quicker they can move big weight, the better....

I like those platforms... I want one in my house one day....

Chris's routine is actually pretty similar to mine.

DE Lower
ME Upper (always a standing press of some type)
ME Lower
DE Upper

The biggest difference is that their 2ndary exercise on Lower body days will be a OL lift one day a week and a speed pull the next. Their ME upper is a standing overhead followed by inclines and their DE upper is speed bench followed by board presses.

I'll see if I can upload their Template sometime tonight.

I don't believe that we have a lax team or club...

Honestly...I sometimes feel that the people that I train with (Cheese, jason, king, brian747478') probably don't like me or the way that I train from time to time. Sometimes I get a little moody and I most always insist that things are to be done my way. Not sure it is a good or bad thing.
