i'll summarize this.
leaving work a little late, and a state cop pulled me over in my parking lot
i was like wtf
apparently i set my alarm off without knowing and the police were called.
i didn't have my id on me, i left it in my shop
i explained that i was the manager of this business and i accidentally set the alarm off and that i left my ID inside.
he was like cool lets go get it so you can go home.
now i just smoked a phatty with my boss in the office 20 minutes prior so i knew it was rank with smoke... but i didn't think he was gonna go in with me. but he was right behind me. so as i walked to the door i stammered for a minute and said that actually i left my ID at home.
he was miffed and was like alright give me your info and hold on a sec.
told him my name and waited for about 5 minutes. when he came back i knew something was fucked up, my knees started to tremble a bit. terrible feeling.
he said "mr.gambino, it appears that you have a suspended liscense and i'm placing you under arrest"
now i knew this was bullshit, i just got in an accident last week and ladder to that i got pulled over for speeding. So resolutly i was like no way possible sir, must be some mistake. I have a company car, i would lose my job with no liscense. please check again.
so, cuffs in hand, he radioed back and we waited. finally after sweating for 4 long minutes i heard the dispatcher say, mistake, liscense reinstated in 2001.
and here i am, safe and free
