It's not so much religion itself that breeds hate and such, it's the "us vs them" mentality that does it. Hate and intolerance has spread wherever there has been things in history to divide humans. Blacks vs whites, fags vs straights, Russians vs Americans, etc. Religion is simply one more way to "divide" us into groups. Your attitude towards anyone who doesn't think like you is a shining example of what religion was created to do: create hate and intolerance towards others.

Maybe someday you will be able to talk to a Muslim or a Jew and not judge them simply based on their religion, but you aren't there yet.

It basically is a us vs them. Muslims hate Christians heck Americans for that matter. They would like to see us all dead. And since I am a human I have a desire to live so my protective spirit comes into play when a group once me and my kind dead.

Oh btw I have no problem with Jews. They are God's chosen people afterall. Why would I have a problem with them? In otherwords, how come you put them in your last sentence?
