I was being somewhat humerous about the "check it" comment

and the Question about you being single has no bearing on the above, was simply a curiosity.

I dated a single Mom for 2-3 years and am somewhat Sympathetic to them.
Though many of them are in that situation do to irresponsible disposal of youth.

Why sympathetic? Single parents have just as much of a chance to be successful in all areas as parents who are married. Different obstacles and challenges may be present but certainly no excuse to ride out the "victim" crutch. I've never had anyone feel sorry for me for being a single parent. I'd likely gut punch them for being so ignorant.
