Top female options when it comes to TRT

I'm a 48-year-old female interested in TRT. My doctor doesn't really know much about it, but he said he could refer me to a specialist. The problem is the specialist is over two hours away. I would like to get some information first before I make an appointment and have to drive all that way. You think that a typical dosage for females would be like 25 mg a day or something else?

Definitely you want to speak with someone that can look at the Estrogen/Testosterone and make the correct recommendations.

My GF does hormone therapy and fortunately has a doctor that will explain the how's and why's to balance the estogren and testosterone out.

Even gave advice when she ran an 8 week cycle of Anavar.

Possibly find a tele health doctor that actually takes the time to listen to you and give one on one advice vs a name, height, weight and credit card for auto ship :)

no way would 25mg a day be what you need unless you want to transition
Generally women need 10mg A WEEK - for TRT, some even less.
The problem is if it is injectable form , test vials are usually 200-250mg/ml making it very hard to dose correctly and have a needle long enough to go IM. You may be able to find a provider that has 50mg/ml specifically for females - otherwise it is gels/creams for women.

If you are in the U.S I think there are plenty of tele-health options
