i was just tryin to get some opinions on it. i was looking it over and thinkin of givin it a shot with a lil alteration to the format.

that may help you. Read that and Robby's response. It's straight from a men who were there themselves (both the guys grandfather and robby).

It's about the old school routines Reg Park and others would use (which is what old school is based on).

In my opinion it's good because it's basic, and somewhat frequent. Lot's of growth to be had there. The old time lifters really did know what they were talking about. :)
 
Simply put, old school training works. That is why it has stayed around long enough to be old. One of the best old school routines I've seen has eben Needsize's 5x5 routine.

Be careful with the 5x5

It's really easy to put on muscle strength with the 5x5 but the tendons needs to be given a little respect.

I'll be going back on a 5x5 shortly but I gave my bicep tendon a yank last time and this time I will probably listen to my body a little better and cycle between 5x5 and sets of 10 till I develop enough overall maturity in my tendons. They appear to take much longer to train even if you put on muscle easily
