this personality scared the shit out of me.

I didn't answer any questions different on purpose; I answered according to how the shape made me feel a day later. Plus, I just couldn't remember what I picked yesterday..

A shape can not make you feel the same each and every time you look at it (no matter how much your design guy says it will lol). It can not map the mind/personality. It might be able to give you a snapshot of how the person is feeling at the moment...

I think he was asking about Meyers-Briggs, not the test in this thread.

lol pretty off diagnosis.

Often concerned with right and wrong, and punctilious in expressing it, you are best represented by the Customs Agent or the IRS inspector. Eh not really so blk and white.

Initially seen by others as cold or uncaring,
nawh, easygoing, approachable

you are difficult for those more spontaneous members of society to understand. You are extremely stable, responsible and dependable. You manifest an amazing ability to concentrate on the issue at hand, and are difficult to distract from issues that are important.
nope, pretty ADD, and definitly spontaneous, not really stable...tend to be indecisive, responsible yes, independant more than dependant.

You manifest a great sense of loyalty to your employers and your government.
loyalty more from shared values, earned respect, ect.

You tend to show love through a display of committed works, believing that actions speak louder than words.
Yes, but i don't neccessarily believe they are always louder than words, just easier.

You are also resistant to change and tend to believe that the old ways are best.
I love change.

If a behavior has been successful in the past, why would anyone want to change? You work best in a controlled environment.
boring.

Since I am not black and white, and I have extroverted feeling and sensing, some of the questions could go both ways depending on how I feel that month or season (I am an INFJ). I don't really like the idea that a test can tell me who I am so sometimes I'll answer a couple of questions different when its referring to my Se and Fe..trying to see if I'll get ENFJ but still end get INFJ result or try to skew to get INTJ (who wants to admit they have dominant extroverted F?)

I don't take the test one after another..I'm talking about years later. I still get the same INFJ result.

Also, I have a shadow function under stress (most people do) that could skew the results as well. Even though I get INFJ each time..I relate best to INFP description! So..what the fvck.

I agree that some of the questions in the M-B test are vague enough, or don't offer answer choices that adequately reflect my feelings, that multiple responses are possible. But I think some of that is factored into the test, they get more accurate with redundancy. I always come up INTP, although the "N" and the "P" are close enough that I could veer into ISTJ territory.

aaahhh... I know more about you now. :)

That's why I am skeptical of typology. The MBTI test is accurate in the result, but the whole concept of typology is BS (imo sorry Carl Jung) when it comes to understanding yourself. If you question a believer when you don't act exactly according to your type, they will tell you that you are either depressed, confused, or acting as your shadow function.

I don't understand why people feel like they have to put themselves in neat little boxes.

I do think it has value when trying to understand others though...

Heretic! Shun the non-believer! Shun!

:)

It's just your body thetans talking.
