i used to see RG all the time.. when i lived in Newjersey

he has a protien shake he sells and he like hand delivers the boxes alot of times...

kinda a dick but hes ok

Does anyone know when this picture was taken? I commented about this EXACT picture on a thread about vascularity and said "Rich Gaspari pic, If you`ve seen it, you know what I`m talking about" This was it. Nobody knew what I was talking about. well... here it is! lol

I`ll try to get the link. I have a good memory of pics from Flex and Muscle/Fitness mags, from MANY years ago...too long.

AAP that is an impressive pic, but i cannot decide if he looks good or bad...regardless, i wonder how long he actually looked like this? this must have been right before a contest where he dieted furiously. can someone look like this for more than a few days?

Maybe his lousy attitude, and lack of focus? He is another one who could have had it all if he would have just worked for it. Reminds me of Kevin Levrone. Now that he claims the IFBB is racist, i doubt he'll ever place better than last. I could see if he looked good in that last show he did, but Paul was holding water, and needed to shed a few more lbs. I don't see Lee Priest claiming that crap, he knew he came in looking like shit last time.

You are so very true.

Paul's weakest muscle was that which rested on his shoulders. He never had the mental intellect beyond 14 years old. Once that so-called "4 million dollar" contract runs out, we will never hear from him again. Thank god. He is a lazy fuck that relies on genetics and drugs more than his own work ethic.

I'm terrible at guessing bodyfat %. I always figured this was about 8-9%.

Perhaps this summer. That way I can go back to my prefered method of cardio - swimming in the ocean.

I used to think swimming in the ocean was cool training. This summer I learned a few things that made me change my mind about that.

1) sharks (they are probably the least of my worries)
2) Portuguese Man of War
3) Sea Lice
4) Rip tides
5) Always need a partner at the very least on the beach and willing to look up every few minutes.
6) motor boats and occasionally drunk pilots

There are very few pools here that are big enough to get in good workouts. I have yet to find a place to swim yet that doesn't remedy all of those problems - the biggest one being number 5.

1) Never had an attack here (not that I am aware of)
2) Ditto
3 ) dunno about that, never heard of anyone getting it.

I love swimming. It is so meditating... I usually swim one mile up and one mile back. Or either walk the mile back if I am lazy, or just can't get my mind free and unfocused. Nothing worse than swimming and actually THINKING about shit.
 
There is very little risk inside of the reefs here with sharks. There are sharks, but they are little and not the dangerous ones outside of the reefs.

The Man of War goes through bad seasons, but they always seem to show up out of nowhere. They are especially bad at the beach I normally go to, which is unfortunate.

Sea Lice are jellyfish larvae and leave itchy rash-like burns on your skin if they get caught between your suit and the skin. If you ingest them, you get nauseous. My fiance got them last year - the same beach that gets the Man of War gets these bad (Coral/Elbow Beach).

Rip tides are common here. Someone nearly died this summer at least once from it. I think the reefs amplify it.

As for boats, they are all over the place here. Even close to shore - it is not fun to see them fishing close.
Can wear a bright orange skull cap to try to stay visible - helps with someone watching as well.

I was gung ho to run to the beach, swim, and then run home and then doing biking later. But I have heard so many things about how unsafe it is to swim without supervision in the ocean for training that I didn't bother with it.

Just as well since I am not getting in enough running now anyway.

I'm too busy trying to stay afloat to enjoy swimming, but if I'm ever going to do a triathlon I better get used to it.
 
Have you seen anyone stung by a Man of War? Was it bad?

Jellyfish are non existent here.. mostly on the Gulf coast. Never saw them here.

The only beach deaths last year came from lightening striking two people on seperate incidents. Actually, the second man struck was only about 75 feet from where the first man was struck and killed the previous week. This was at the gay beach area. I don't know the details of the first man, but I was across the beach at Beach Place when the second man was struck. I actually saw it happen. He was carrying a tall ass fishing rod. And before it happened, I could smell something in the air. Not a scent, but something more like it went up my nose and I had that *sharp* reaction that you have before you sneeze.

Then it happened. Hit that fishing rod and blew it all over the place. It looked like a retractor beam came down because the man LIFTED (not blown) up in a straight line about 5 feet and then tossed to the side. He died before a crowd could form.

What I can take from this is that:
1) I had no idea the gays fished
2) God almighty is trying to tell you something

My fiancee has a scar on her abs from where she was stung/burned by a MoW. I thought I had, but the location of it was not in an area where they usually show up.

The first man had his wife with him, the second man was obviously straight as well cuz as you say, no gays fish.

God was letting everyone know She don't take lightly to just anyone her Beach Of Beauty. She don't like straight men mixing in and trying to be cool by association.

Before the victim finished his cry of "ohhh shittt!", three queens had run over and armed with nothing more than Coppertone and lip balm, already had his hair coiffed and his face made for presentable services showing.

Even from where I was sitting, way across the road, I glanced over the menu I was reading, and muttered "Hmm, 36 Slim, Size 9, and given he is straight - it doesn't matter which side he 'dresses' on"
