Thinking of Switching from Glute to Quad Injections.....

Should I or shouldn't I? Any advice, experiences, instructions, horror stories...etc are most welcome. I just wanna give my glutes a rest.

Currently injecting Test E 55mg 2x a week with 150iu HCG 2x a week and .25mg Adex every 2 days. Results are:

Total Test: 1247
Free Test: 287
Estradiol: 34 (Prior to an additional .25mg Adex a week)

I was thinking of increasing my Test E to 100mg 2x a week. Any advice?

Thanks

I am now just over eight weeks into my TRT and I started with doing the glute mostly just because for some reason I was comfortable with that being the first time I have ever gave myself injections. Then from continually reading it is a good idea to rotate and now have added my quads and delts to my rotation actually now I prefer my quads and delts ove the glutes. I am rather new to this but I am sure one of the other very knowledgable guys on this forum wil chime in.

If you are pinning only twice per week, I see no reason that you have to switch from Glutes. They are the least problematic area, and you only need to pin each cheek once per week.

There are quite a few problems you could run into pinning quads if you don't know exactly what you are doing

I have switched it up before (from glute to quad) and was glad I did. I was starting to see & feel scare tissue in my glutes and it was physically easier to hit a site I could see without the need for mirrors and body contortions. I also began to aspirate again. Something I neglected to do consistently in my glutes. I measured 1 hand down from hip & 1 hand up from knee and hit the middle area in between. IMO there was no drop in potency or effect. I even felt an advantage psychologically when it came to leg day which helped me emphasize a lagging region and focus throughout some grueling lower body sessions. So give it a shot (no pun intended). It won't be a waste

I agree, now I am aspirating all the time much easier for me then when I was pinning the glutes alll the time.

Haha the first few weeks I was drawing all over my body with my kids washable crayola markers.

i like quads but one time I did something wrong because my leg hurt like a mofo for almost a week, my fiance would barely touch my leg in bed and it would hurt so bad, at work where i walk all day my leg buckled about 50 times and everyone asked what was wrong, I just said I pulled something lol, but damn im scared to do quads again. Just my horror story lol

Either one will work fine the only issue I have found with my quads is there is a lot more veins and nerves running through your quads so watch out

I have only used my quads from the start mainly because that is where the nurse showed me how to do it and since I have not had any problems I have not experimented anywhere else.

Hi

I've injected myself for years now, and only use my glutes and occasionally deltoids.

z28blak is right to urge caution when injecting the quads, due to loads of nerves etc. I stay away from this area for that reason alone. However, there are many, many guys who do inject quads with no problems, and as another poster said: it's much easier for him because he can see where he's injecting and control what he's doing more easily. If you're going to inject the quadraceps then make sure you inject the upper outside quadrant (sweep) of the large upper quadracep. also, ensure the area is relaxed and not tensed or contracted when you inject, as that can be pretty painful.
