man if i was on test at 20 i would of fucked ANYTHING!!!

Oh the memories...but to OP as has been said it is definitely not worth it and the gains you can make now naturally are going to be much easier to hold onto. Keep at it for another year or two and then look into a cycle. You will be glad you did!

Edit: shoot i guess i have hit him already recently and cant :(.

Congrats on your gains.

What I would suggest is that you learn to train smarter rather than harder.

I think one of the biggest mistakes that newbies make is over-training.

Muscle doesn't grow when you are training, it grows when you are resting/recovering.

If you are stalled, I would suggest dropping down to a three or four day a week split (take more rest days between training sessions) for a couple of months and see how you get on.

You also need to change how you train, often called periodisation or contrast training.

Most people have a mix of slow and fast twitch muscle, and they respond differently to different types of weight training, so mixing/chopping and swapping between:

low reps, heavy weight
high reps/volume training
super-setting
drop-sets
pre-exhausting the muscle

can also stimulate new gains.

Yes!!! "Smarter">"Harder"

NO. TOO YOUNG.

you still have a year or two of height left to attain.

doing steroids will prematurely fuse your growth plates robbing you of whatever height was yet to occur before natural fusing.

some late bloomers continue to grow to 22 or 23.

--

better to take 7-10 days off (horrors!) and then hit the weights with new intensity in order to break tru the plateau. trust me on that one. Change your routine, add some intensity techniques (negatives, x-reps, drop sets, etc).

visit the training board, the nutrition boards read all you can to fine tune your plan and you'll continue to make great natural gains. your hormone levels and recovery ability are at a stage where you really dont need juice to progress .

Yes, that works really well too.

I think taking off minimum two weeks every year is essential.
