Think oxandrolone is making me shed..

I think this ox (anavar) is making me shed... I'm doing 40mg/day of chinese powder along with 40mg/day of fina. I'm at week 2 with the fina and week 3 with the anavar. Have seen an increase in shedding in the shower and even when i rub my head.
Would anyone know the melting point of anavar so I can get this stuff tested in lab tomorrow???
Hopefully it is what its supposed to be and have yet to get any other sides. Strength is up and veins everywhere. Its too soon for the fina to kick in so i know its the ox working..
Any help with this question would be appreciated.


p.s. Got some nizoral 2% and spiro on the way. Think this would be enough to combat the shedding?

this is my 4th run with fina and first with Ox. All other cycles did not notice any hairloss (except with winny). Also all my other fina cycles were 75mg/ED. Such a low dose couldn't possibly affect me now and so soon.

It is probably the Fina... It produces a lot of DHT, which makes hair fall out in some individuals.

Get some Proscar quick. Proscar is the same as propecia, but you get 5 mg per tab rather than 1mg. Use it at 5mg for a week or two and then split the pill down to 1mg portions after that. Your hair and prostate will thank you.

Why not? I have heard that Proscar causes gyno, but I have not seen any evidence of this in my experience.

I have yet to see any evidence that proscar and fina is a bad choice.Just conjecture. however it may not help as it works mostly with test,methyltest,halo and dbol,possibly with adrol to a degree.However any help beats none IMO.Could also use nizoral and minoxidil to help control shedding.IMO anavar is most likely not responsible for hair loss as i am a MPB sufferer and anavar at any dose has no effect on my hairline,but neither does winny with minox and niz,Test is a hairline killer for me bar none.Good luck

Not quite sure about that...

Fina can't convert to DHT cuz it's a nandrolone derivative. If anything it would convert to DHN (which it doesn't) or, more specifically, di-hydro-trenbolone (which I don't think works).

Proscar will only inhibit the 5-ar enzyme responsible for the DH-conversions which are really only relevant with test. (And on top of it you DON'T wanna take it with deca cuz DHN is much more severe on the scalp than nandrolone itself).

But the point is that, well, if fina hasn't made you shed in the past and the only variable is oxandrolone then, well... get yourself some topical spironolactone.

1. Quick fallout like that is definately not DHT-based miniaturization, and probably wouldn't be helped by proscar/propecia. its more likely stress/drug-induced telogen or anagen effluvium. best to try something to reduce inflamation at the bulb (like folligen or other copper peptide product). Spiro probably can't hurt. search on "buffdoc" for some good stuff on hairloss prevention on juice.

2. I too am a MPB 'victim'. do you notice anavar affecting the body/styleability of your hair even tho no hair loss?

it might be my imagination, but my hair seems to get dead and lifeless on Var (but no fallout), and back to normal shortly after stop the var.

Geoboy: Now that you mention it, it feels a bit dry. I'm starting nioxin again hoping it will help. You mentioned it could be stress/drug-induced telogen or anagen effluvium. After stopping the stressor, is it expected that the hair will grow back?
I'm stopping the fina today, just to see how that goes.

My hairline is still in tact and still have all my hair. Just the fact that I get 10-12 hairs on my hand everytime i run my fingers through in the shower freaks the ever living hell outta me.
