Reminds me of the good old times. Don't mess with the police in foreign countries. They make US cops look like Canadian boy scouts.

I eclipsed 140mph and the cop cars were gone out of my rearview
and I was headed for an interstate interchange which gave me 3 high speed options to select
with them not even having sight of me a mile or so from this interchange I was free
but I came across 2 SUVs traveling side by side at 70mph
braking from 140mph to 70 is a bitch even if the vehicle's architecture is set up to handle it
well I did and had to concede defeat and quit the chase on an exit ramp


arresting detective chatted with me in court
he said "damn you were gone,I'd have never caught you. How fast were you going? etc. etc."

spartacus has good demeanor in trouble and excellent diplomatic skills
and great legal help when it gets to that

trouble was a year ago I got a DUI in the same stretch of interstate except southbound
bought my way out of that,not even a speeding ticket

so second time around I couldn't get away clean
did 5 days in jail as part of my sentence, which I subsequently count as some of the most valuable learning time I've ever had
 
DWI's are a felony in NC now - even for first time offenders. Speeding tickets require a sign-off from a mechanic saying they checked the speedometer. They are cracking down hard.

We had a guy who owns a local nightclub who got stopped, tried to pay off the cop with $20 (yep $20), and almost lost his license to serve booze because of the incident. He got a slap on the wrist but almost lost his business.
 
Ive gotten away from the cops several time

but i was on my motorcycle

they give up fast when trying to chase down peeps on crotch rockets through canyons
 
Ive pretty much already done everything i want to do

so i could die anytime with no regrets

I believe there should be penalties for intoxication. But I think at age 55 drivers should have to pass a vision test and a road test. It's politics the heavy handed penalties they hand out to intoxicated drivers. The field sobriety tests are usually a joke. More than half of the drivers on the road couldn't complete what I've been tasked to do. Major industries depend on the alcohol serving revenue that accompanies your main dish. You can drink and drive but only by this much?
what much? .08? the american medical association recommended a BAC of .15 to register sufficiently impaired to warrant action. elderly are driving around in a cloud

I registered a .23 once and remembered every minute (wasn't driving - wasn't able to drive either). A very seductive German blond poletzi girl administered the BAC test - "Mein Gott! You rrr stillz alive!" I wish she was the one that slapped me with the black leather gloves and the rubber baton. I'm glad I learned my lesson before going to Korea because they lock you up and release you when they feel like it. Sometimes it is a long time.

.08 is too low. I remember when the military started cracking down and off-post it was 1.0 and on post it was .08 and guys were getting nailed left and right.

Old people should have tests every year after a certain age. They are more dangerous than drunks.

actually I have the new orleans-san antonio NBA playoff game on the tube

the infidelity or the realization you're bored too

my history is I get bored with all in 3-4 months
 
Honestly, both. He seems to have a 3year mark for relationships. Mine is prolly something around the same. I think we should just shake hands and turn the other cheek. He doesn't agree. I think he wants to drain me of all energy and motivation for life.

Yes I had a run in with the Polizei while stationed in Germany and it wasn't nice!!
 
I'd like to get shitfaced drunk every night without any negative health consequences.
 
All I can say is CBR 1000RR.......................Cops dont stand a chance.....They dont even try to chase me sometimes............
