Thermorexin feedback: post here

looking for woman specific feedback

particularly:
personal analysis of different aspects
1. appetite suppression
2. thermogenesis (heat)
3. mental focus
4. stimulation/workout effects


pls include dosages and general type of diet (carb, low carb, keto etc..)

plus any what you feel may be female specific sides or benefits..
 
kronk and i with both be trying this when we start cutting, but that wont be for 3 months or more, but i will do a full study on it :)
 
Started out with 1 first thing in the a.m. The first day I felt energetic without the jittery feeling I normally feel with NYC or ECA thermos. However, by day three, I am up to 2 per day. No adverse stimulatory effects, no short temper that I sometimes get with other thermos, am alot warmer than usual. I must have one hell of an appetite though cause I dont have any appetite suppression whatsoever. And being unable to weight train due to an injury, I need all the help in that area that I can get. The only other supps I am taking is the Glucorell and using Yohimburn once a day (5 days out of 7). I do take the Thermorexin on an empty stomach and usually dont eat until 30-45 minutes later. Diet is clean, approx. 60%P, 30%C, 10%F. Total caloric intake at this time ranges anywhere from 1500-1800 per day. I am trying to keep them lower because of the lack of activity.

I am taking potent pain relievers (Ultracet and Lortabs) regularly; I wonder if that may be interacting with the Thermorexin?
 
I have been taking it for a little over a week. The first day I took 1 tablet as recommended. I only noticed the appetite suppression. I slowly have bumped it up to 4 a day. I really notice the appetite suppression, in my opinion it is too much. I become nauseous shortly after taking it. The heat, I only noticed a slight increase in temperature, nothing uncomfortable. Mental focus? I didn’t notice that at all. Workout effect, now that I did notice. I liked that very much. It reminded me very much of an ECA stack, just without the jitters. In the first week of taking it I lost 6 pounds (water). I am doing CKD for my diet. I hope after my second week to lose another 2 pounds (fat, I hope). If I do, I will be doing better then I was taking an ECA. As far as side effects? No joke, I am a total bitch! But I get the same effect from taking an ECA.:mad: Or maybe I am just a bitch?:confused:
 
Started today (yesterday). Started w/ 1 pill, intending to go hit am cardio in 45 min. Around 20 min my stomach started feeling sort of gross. Then I realized I needed to high-tail it to work for some overseas calls with business partners - that blew the cardio schedule. I threw in some l-tyrosine to help eliminate jitters which I tend to get on some thermos. After breakfast (eggwhites, ground turkey, 1/2 grapefruit) my stomach was fine. Also threw on some P7 just in case the jitters started. I was concerned about being too agitated & bitchy at work.

I was amazed at home focused I was without experiencing jitters once the chaos at work started. I didn't notice any hunger until it was time to eat (every 2-3 hrs). Out of boredom I threw back a cup of decaf around 10. No problems.

I figured I would start crashing around 2-3 pm because I've been sleeping like shit the last several days (too much on my mind). But I kept going without feeling particularly buzzy or bitchy. Got home late, tired around 10, but stayed up too late doing some work on the computer. Unfortunately I'm up staring at the ceiling again at 2am -but o well.

I've been posting in the Thermorexin thread in the Anabolic forum, but what the hell, why not here too?

Took one Thermorexin twice my first day, and three times yesterday and today. No headaches to speak of, nor nausea if I take it on an empty stomach, cardio and lifting have been awesome, pants are getting looser by the day (due to dropping significant water), and my appetite has dwindled to nothingness. I'd actually compare it to Phentermine in terms of appetite supression, except without the moodiness. I really, really like the fact that it doesn't wire me out of my skull.

I only feel the "heat" after working out. And I normally don't sweat unless I'm doing hard cardio outside in the heat, but I've noticed that my underarms have been kind of damp just sitting passively at my computer these last few days I've been on it. I think I'll stay with this dose - no reason to tamper with perfection.

My boyfriend was looking into getting some piracetam and vinpocetine a couple of months ago to help him be more "sharp" at work, but nothing ever came of it - I'm going to give him a few caps of Thermorexin and see how he likes it. :)
 
been on since saturday...

took one the first day, and 2 every day after that. At first felt a bit nauseous, however if taken with a little food it was better.

appetite supression - didn't notice any at first, but this week at work my stomach didn't start rumbling till 1pm instead of my normal 11am..so something is diong there

heat - no sweating :) yay. will have to see what happens when it actually gets hot here though

mental focus - no change

stimulatory/workout - more even keel than my usual UP and DOWN on eca...although i do not feel "very awake" like after eca.
no shakes or jitters.

interesting - weds afternoon I felt I could take 2...I got so worked up that I broke up with my boyfriend. That was actually along time in coming, anyways. So thanks guys, I needed that push!

I havent weighed myself (i dont look at scales) but I will keep track of progress with the new tight jeans I bought last week. If next week they are any looser, we've got a winner!

oh and my diet, btw 1500-1700 cals a day, rotating carbs btw 50-150 per day, the rest protein and good fats.

It does make a huge difference. I've tried to date guys who didn't lift, but it just never works out. I've really enjoyed dating my PLer; I learn a lot from him, and he respects my opinion and actually listens to me as I go on and on about training/nutrition. Plus, he obviously has a great appreciation for my more muscular physique. It's nice to be appreciated so openly. :-)
 
One addendum to my previous post - although my pants are looser, and I feel smaller overall, my definition is blurred. Could I be holding water from the Yohimbine?

Come to think of it, I broke up with my last boyfriend on ECA. Also awhile in coming. We should start a club, jilly. ;)
 
Here's my late night contribution - day two. Due to crappy sleeping I was late taking dose 1, didn't make AM cardio but too the 1 dose around 8:30 am. Off to work, even had a cup of 1/2 regular + 1/2 decaf. No jitters, still amazingly not tired. Focus was decent, appetite was ok, not hot at all.

Today I wanted to see if the l-tyrosine from yesterday made a difference. It didn't. I will comment that the l-tyrosine made a difference when taking NYC. Definitely helps w/ the jitters. I'm thinnking tomorrow is time to double the thermorexin dose....
 
OK did the double Wohoo!

Overslept & took one at noon. Another training day replaced with house work. (backyard work actually.) I'm amazed at how I geto NO jitters or body buzz at all. Just kick in & stay focused all day. I took anther one at 5 PM so I could handle Round 2 in the backyard. (Mind you its 90 degrees out there too.)

I took some diphen hydromine (OTC sleeping aid) because my day is now rotated about 8 hrs due to shitty sleep cycle, but I'm not wired or wide awake at all.

Ulter - how is it I'm not coping a mean buzz on this stuff?? NYC sends me bouncing. Ripped fuel records a Richter scale reading.

Hoping tomorrow to hit cardio on this stuff to see what happens, barring backpain from more house work....

I think I needs to hire me a big strong Swedish guy named Sven to take care of my house / yard work from now on. For health reasons. ;)

Anyone know a big blond Swede named Sven looking for a manual labor job? I don't pay well, but the bennies are unforgettable! ;)
 
OK day 4 is complete.

Overslept again because it just freekin felt good :)

So I took pill #1 at 12 noon. Good focus, didn't notice anything specifically about appetite. Continued cleaning the house with energy that is blowing me away. Then pill #2 at 5 PM. Went to the gym - hams / lats / abs, 45 min cardio. I started getting a slight headache about 2o min after taking it. But it didnt' inhibit my training or get worse.

The best part is its 10:30 now and i might actually be able to get some sleep tonite.

No, and yes, in that order. I switched over to ephedrine and caffiene for a few days to see if the squishy midsection went away (somewhere I very rarely retain water), and it didn't, so I went back to Thermorexin today, and lo and behold, the water is gone. My stomach hasn't been this flat or my waist this small for a very long time. :)
 
Today -- Day 6? (I forget)
Got some sleep as a result of one of those diphenhydromine tablets - except I was dead to the world at 7 am. Was focused at work, but I find I start feeling sick to my stomach about 20 min after taking a Thermrxn on an empty stomach. Thank god I had an apple with me on the drive to work. Otherwise... (oh man the poor newspaper guy on the corner would not be happy..)

Pill #2 around 2 PM. Still focused. I can actually even drink 1/2 cup of coffee and not freak out. Appetite suppression - eh, sorta/not really. I wish it was MORE - I'm battling the depression munchies these days.

Anyway, got home from work around 6:45, but had a bit of a stomach ache from eating meal #4 too late. So I had time to lay down for 30 min and just relax. I was starting to feel a little punchie - like when you take a nap in the middle of the day - so I threw in 2 green tea extract pills & 1 yohimbine, a little Trance music and off to the gym. This is where it gets interesting - MAJOR bicep pump (bis & chest tonite). MAJOR! That was kewl because I usually get nothign but aggravated tendonitis on bicep day. Also noticeably stronger. Then cardio -- 45 min of pretty intense stuff. This was really kewl. I got home, did the post workout shake, threw in some inositol & took some kava kava to see about fallign asleep at a reasonable hour.

Wondering about the appetite suppression -- do I screw myself if I take 3???
 
Hi Sassy I'm on day three, the first two days I took just one, today I popped another at 2:oo. I am getting major appetite suppression as well as no jitters or that nervy feeling. Actually this is one of the better thermos that I've tried. Don't know if I'd go for three yet, but you know yourself the best, fwiw-valerie
 
Sassy, I was wondering the same thing. I am going to try for 3 doses tomorrow and see if that helps with the appetite suppression that so many are raving about. Cause with only 2 (At 7:00 a.m. & at 1:00 p.m.) it aint happening for me. However, I have noticed water loss and alot of it. Dropped ~2 lbs in as many days and my lines are coming out. This is a good thing.
 
I stayed at 2 today & cut carbs a little because I didnt' make it to am cardio or training tonite. Also took an OTC sleepign aid so i'm about ready to crash. But I'm feelign a difference in how "thick" i feel. I really like that. Perhaps 3 tomorrow - dunno but will update.
 
I'm start'n to worry about you Sassy and not being able to sleep, hope everything will get better and make sure to take care of yourself!
 
Tried # today and that seems to be the trick. First dose @ 7 a.m., second @ 11 a.m. and third @ 2:30 this afternoon. No headaches, jitters and NO APPETITE. About time something worked. I dont seem to be too wired now either so I dont believe I will have a problem sleeping.
 
yea, you could say sleep is a challenge .. however I'm hoping certain changes in scenery in the near future will address some of this.

On the other side, still at 2 pills / day - I'm also starting to notice some diff in my waist .. this is a small miracle - so I'll see if its just the sleeping stuff I'm taking or I'm really gettign some results.
 
THERMO..... Putting female on it right now...second day @ 1 tab..Not enough, going for two tabs in divided doses. will keep you posted.. This woman got horrible REBOUND from CLEN, now up 18lbs....desperate!!!!!
 
I'm quite pleased- brief review


1 - Stops appetite in its tracks

2 - I've experienced very little of the "heat" factor and when I do it's like a 60 second wave. It's very similar to a sexual flush if I had to describe it - doesn't bother me at all.

3 - Never focused better - it's like a 40 oz cafe o lait packed in one pill - I could kiss you both (Macro/Ulter) :kiss:

4 - I can get through my work day with great ease and sleep at night (also rare). I do cardio in the morning right after I wake so it's still hard to get going (love to sleep) but I roller blade at night and I haven't been faster in a long time, it's like my feet barely touch the ground.

NO headaches (this is very rare for me - I don't usually take any thermo b/c of it)


The first week I took one per day in the morning just before cardio and then ate breakfast. I usually get to breakfast just before the nausea hits so I'm ok.

Now I've added a second just before lunch.
 
today is my third day, so here are my initial observations

day 1 - took 1 about an hour before morning cardio. felt a bit nauseous, the same way i sometimes feel after i drink a cup of green tea. it went away in about 10 minutes. cardio felt the same as always. took another 1 around 2pm. maybe about an hour later i started feeling an increase in body temp. not really sweaty, just feeling the inside of my body was getting hotter. i also noticed that i was feeling a bit funky and slightly high :) but not wired like EC. very nice feeling.

day 2 - took 1 45 minutes before cardio. again slightly nauseous. this time cardio felt great. i kept increasing the intensity. this feeling started wearing off after 25 minutes. took another 1 around 2pm again. and again about an hour later started feeling the elevated body temp but no sweating (i kinda like this). i also noticed the increased feeling of wellbeing and awareness. took a third dose around 5pm. half an hour later i was starving, even though i had eaten at 3:30pm. i grabbed a quick protein shake and i was fine. had no problems with sleep.

day 3 - woke up late so i took one 5 minutes before workout. i started feeling hotter and really sweaty into my second set!! the whole workout was easier than usual, but not enough to increase the weights. took a second dose at 12pm and will be taking a third one at 4pm. the whole day i have felt the increased body temp and definitely some appetite supression. also the same feeling of wellbeing/awareness/alertness (i don't know how else to describe it).

overall impressions - i like it!! the feeling on thermorexin is great. and it looks like (at least for me) that it starts working in full force after a couple of days. i will have to wait another week to report on actual weight loss.
 
I am not sure I know what your asking. Do you mean how long should you use it before coming off? You can go on and off as you please. So far no one I know has built up any real tollerance to it and I know people who have tried. It seems once you find your max that's it.

Millie, I know the feeling you're describing, it's great. I think that some people will need to wait a couple days for all the actions to kick in. My wife didn't feel the appetite suppression until the end of the first week and then it good. Are you low carbing?
 
Ulter, i am not on a low carb diet. i eat somewhere around 100-120g of carbs and my daily cals are ~1500. and the thing is that all throughout the day i do feel the appetite suppression.
it's just that about half an hour after i take a third dose of thermo, my stomach literally starts growling (it happened yesterday too). it doesn't bother me though and i am not complaining. i don't feel hungry, my stomach is just empty :) could be that the t-rex is revving my metabolism too much :D

i took 1 30 minutes before morning cardio today. again it was a breeze. another thing i noticed and really liked today is that cardio wasn't as boring as usual. my mind was so occupied with stuff (nothing in particular, just a lot of thoughts racing through), that i didn't realize how fast the time passed. and i also noticed that the nauseous feeling is decreasing.

i am liking this more and more each day :)
 
I have been using P7 with Thermorexin the past 2 night's, it has seemed to help me sleep. I normally don't have problems with sleep except for Sunday nights, because of getting so much rest during the weekend. The Thermorexin hasn't interfered with my normal sleep habits.
 
I guess I had better get some on order! Ever since I returned from vacation last month my appetite has been out of control and I want cookies and cake not chicken and oatmeal. ECA is having no effect on it at all.
 
The girl I have on now is going into day three at 3 tabs....we are going to introduce P-7 also at the same time.....(orange)....not getting full effect yet....from the THERMOREXIN.....up till now, 2 tabs were not enough...but only 3rd day into this...will post more..
 
Ulter - my question is basically do the receptors need some time off like w/ clen or other ECAs? Or just when you don't feel the results anymore, take a breather?

I guess I need to go up to 3/day to get the appetite suppressant effect. I definitely get the heat feeling and the kick. But I also have been sleeping well the last few nites w/o the diphenhydramine. This is huge for me!
 
Ok yesterday was my wife's first day. She took 1 around 8am after a banana and before going to work. The day went well, only 2 complaints. 1st she had to move all the time, just couldn't sit and stay still.(now this is her complaint in a good way) 2nd she had to go to the bathroom to "send a fax" 4 times but no problems there, a "solid" performance. No nausea, no jitters or edgy feeling (which is good since short fuse and a kindergarten teacher don't work well together). Appetite was normal, starving when she came home around 5.30pm about 3-4 hours after a snack at work. She said she probably felt a little more focused and this was at 10pm. At 11 she still said she couldn't stop moving but 1 hour later she was fast asleep.

Diet is normal with moderate carbs no other supplements to go with T, yohimburn df applied in the mornings. Though I was thinking about not using it since this is that time of the month and therefore she "can't do any exercising" She's been using a thermo previously just to get a kick start for the day but thermorexin clearly has more strength.

So now we just see what will happen next. She'll probably stay with just 1 a day for a couple of days or a week since she clearly felt the pill working after 12-14 hours of taking it. Also, when she gets back to her tae bo routine we'll have to see if she has to up the dosage. But I don't think she'll need to above 3 at any point.

Well today I went to 3 pills. I actually get tired in the afternoon. This is interesting - is this like a post high crash or something? The schedule was:

#1 - 8 AM
#2 - 12 noon
#3 - about 4 PM

I did notice I was getting a little short this afternoon & also had a headache flare up. I had a headache this morning from sleeping funny on my pillow (I have a very sensitive head), got rid of it before noon, and then it came back w/ a vengeance late this afternoon. But I will also throw in that today was a rather stressful day due to the ginormous ineptitude of most of my company's upper management & the further blinding ignorance of some of our customers. So, perhaps tomorrow, being Friday, I will be able to experiment w/ the three pill approach in a more controlled environment. I still can't make a comment on the appetite suppressant effect tho.
 
To tag along with Debu's post, who has lost FAT and not just WATER?

Not trying to seem skeptical at all, because I absolutely LOVE AF's products, but I am curious as to the actual fat loss - actual, real, and measured fat loss. All the immediate results seem to be of water loss - which is all fine and good, but I want to know about FAT! :D
 
You're right macro -- I'm guilty of being hooked on diet coke. Its really bad, but I'm really distracted right now & trying to be patient to make some rather serious changes in my life. So I go for the diet coke. BAAAADDDDD SASSSSYYYY.

I'll try to adjust that. Thx for the pointer.
 
Ok, yesterday was my wife's 2nd day still just 1 pill. No changes from the day before except less "faxes to send". She noticed that she needs to drink more water and she said she's starving by the time for a meal. So no appetite suppression there at all. I have a complaint though, she talks all the time :) Anyway she said she's going to take 2 today since she has to go to a birthday party and after that do some painting. We'll see how that goes.

Yep, I sorta figured that out yesterday so we are adding more carbs to the diet.

So, today she took 1st pill at 8am and the 2nd around 2pm. And this time the heat factor kicked in. She was cleaning the playschool and according to her it made sweat like a pig. And let me point out that usually she never sweats, not even when she's doing intense cardio. At the moment she's painting so we'll see if the 2nd pill affects her falling asleep in a few hours.

By the way about the heat. Are there any benefits from the risen temperature? I mean t-rex is still working well but is working even better if you have elevated body temperature? Does increased sweating equal increased metabolism?
 
today is day 7 for me. i have gone up to 4 pills a day and have no problems with sleep at all. actually i have noticed that now i have a hard time waking up in the morning. i am very very sleepy and kind of worn out. macro/ulter do you have any idea what is causing this?

also i tried going up to 5 pills but that was too much for me. so i believe my dose is 4 a day.

i think i have built a little tolerance to it. at least i am not noticing the effects so much any more. i wouldn't really call it tolerance. i think i have just gotten used to the effects, as i still feel them, but they are not something unusual anymore.

appetite suppression is amazing at this point. so is stamina and energy during the day. like the others i realized that i tend to move around more and talk more, but i don't feel wired like when on ECA. i also continue to feel a pronounced sense of wellbeing.

the only thing i don't notice anymore is the alert/aware feeling :( is there anything i can add to t-rex to get that again? maybe your new nuotropic? or ALCAR? or l-tyrosine? or something else?
i really liked that feeling :)

it's only been a week, so i can't say for sure if i have lost any fat. i feel lighter/slimmer, but i am also a little soft. water retention maybe?
 
You know...I've been reading all these posts over the last few days and thought maybe T-rex would be good for me after building up a ridiculous tolerance to ECAs and i also tried clen with not much result. But, im looking at the ingredients of T-rex and notice that it contains KELP..im allergic to iodine so i assume T-rex is now a no-go for me? :confused:

hmm well let's see...i never was a shellfish eater but wheni went for a CATSCAN some years back they had asked me beforehand if i was allergic to shellfish or iodine. i said i dont know. and when they injected the iodine (not sure maybe it was the synthetic) i had a slight allergic reaction, nothing too serious. but they told me at that time that i was allergic to iodine and i should let my medical prefessional know this. so if i am allergic to the synthetic iodine compound, then would it be ok for me to try T-Rex although it contains KELP? thanks for your help. this product seems great and im anxious to try it if i can.:D
 
you should not have a problem with the kelp in thermorexin. its only 40mg and provides only a small amount of iodine (enough be to be supportive)

email [email protected] and ask about getting a sample, thats really the best way to tell. though as above you should have no problems
 
My wife's t-rex diary. Saturday 1 pill about 30 minutes before we went painting. She kept going for 6 hours without a break. Pretty good I'd say. I on the other hand took a break every 20 minutes or so :) Yesterday no pills at all. We were supposed to walking but never did so she didn't take anything. But this morning something totally amazing happened. She woke up like an hour before necessary, took 1 pill and went walking!! I've known her for 5 years now and that has never happened. I guess she really likes the energy rush she gets from the pills.

Then the feelings. Still no appetite suppression but since she has to move all the time that should take care of the calorie deficit. Another interesting thing she mentioned was that her head feels tired towards the evening but the body just wants to keep doing stuff. But when she goes to bed everything shuts down automatically and she's asleep within 10 minutes. And 1 more thing she noticed is huge cravings for candy. But that's just a question of will power.
 
if she craves candy she may need fructose.. small amounts of fruit and.or hard candy (made from fructose or high fructose cornsyrup..pref for fructose) will help minimal (if any) impact on insulin

not only that they will reglycogenate the liver.. essential for fat burning
 
The day I went to 3 pills I noticed a slight tension headache that nite. I sleep like a rock these days.

I developed a nasty headache last Thursday which hasn't gone away yet so I just went off everything for a few days. I tend to get sinus headaches when there is change in the weather -- barometric pressure changes?

I'm also curious about the getting tired effect - I upped my water intake significantly but I'm good for a couple hours after taking a pill - not jittery, but focused & very functional. But then the tiredness really hits. What's up with that? Food cravings - I notice I'm good and then all of a sudden I"m ravenous. At least it matches my scheduled 3 hr eating intervals. I also notice some hot flashes (not menopausal) every now & then.

I'm not sure I can claim that this is a true experiment under controlled conditions because I'm in the middle of making some significant changes in my life, so I'm partially stressed from the load of stuff I have to do, and partially relieved because I'm weeks away from getting out of my current extremely stressful & annoying situation.

Sorry to somewhat hijack the thread, but it does relate to T-rex....

I've always gotten serious heart burn from ALA, no matter what type. From R-ALA to regular ALA. Now I even feel it with the tiny amount of ALA in the T-Rex. Any ideas on how to beat that heart burn? It's really frusterating because I can't take it when I eat my carbs, the heart burn is really that bad.

Other than that, I really enjoy the T-Rex. I get very warm with it, but I don't really notice any alert or awake feelings. I do sweat more that I've ever sweat before though. I came back from the gym today and couldn't believe how much water came out of me. I've never seen so much. I'm thinking this is a good thing because I naturally hold a lot of water (which is frusterating to me). It's really only been about a week, but so far so good.

Now if I can just conquer the ALA problem...
 
Quick update - I was up way late last nite, slept like a rock & up at 8. 1/2 cup of coffee & bored out of my mind at work, but I still have this annoying headache- sinuses i guess. Around 4 I popped a t-rex & got refocused. Ate at 5:30, off to the gym by 7 - killer work out & 50 min cardio! Now let's see if I can sleep :)
 
Something interesting I just notice. Whenever I have carbs and trex at the same time, I turn into a furnace. To the point where I can't stop sweating. I just ate some steak and rice, and now I'm sweating to a very high degree. This leads me to believe I'm just burning up everything inside me which is VERY cool (sweating is kinda gross, but you gotta take the good with the bad.) :)

I noticed this on sunday as well, I just couldn't cool off. It's always after carbs I've noticed. If I just go with meats, I think I get tired and a little hypo glycemic.

Just wanted to point out this observation of mine. My body does react to things rather oddly, so I'm not sure that anyone else experiences this type of thing.
 
SOEX, Even though R-ALA causes you heartburn for you that's not what is causing it with Thermorexin. The answer for both is USUALLY a banana or peaches just prior to taking it.

You have to eat carbs with Thermorexin because it works better that way and without the carbs, well you know what happens without the carbs, you get tired. And probably hungry.
It's a thermogenic, it's SUPPOSED to make you sweat. That's not bad that's good. :)
 
*sigh* I'm so anxious to start this stuff, I shoulda gotten faster delivery on my t-rex. I don't think I can wait any longer. :(

Got mine yesterday and took the first one about 2:30 with some carbs. By 3:30 I was sweating slightly even though I was just sitting on my butt working. Not shaky at all and I was painting fine detail so I would have noticed. Did not get appetite supression but that may come. Slept well. The only thing I have noticed is slight headache but that could be caused by the weather.
 
Took my first dose today at 6:15 am with a banana. i wasnt hungry after that until i made myself eat a bagel with egg at 8:15 am. its now 12:30 im real hungry waiting for my coworkers to bring me my lunch so i ate another banana. im sticking to one Trex today seeing as its my first day and all.
as for SIDE EFFECTS>> nothing that i can tell as of yet. maybe i will notice more at a later date when/if i up the dosage to 2 or 3 pills a day. i do feel alert today but nothing out of the ordinary.

MACRO>> you were right, the amount of iodine in the KELP has not affected me in any way thati can tell (allergic to iodione) so of course im ecstatic about that :p
 
Do you have to take Trex with carbs? I am on CKD, will it not work for me? I ordered it late last week. Thanks.
 
I have found that if I eat carbs/fruit, such as an apple, with Trex, that I become more hungry. Can someone explain why? Should I eat protein and carbs with the Trex? BTW, the only reason for eating with each dose is to curb the quesy feeling when taking it on empty stomach.
 
I haven't gotten queasy taking them without carbs.

I've only gotten small flashes of heat only felt in my face, no real hot or sweaty feelings. Even moving an entire storage garage from a downstairs to upstairs unit over a 7 hour period in a SWEATER.

Up to 4 pills a day, fall fast asleep. Definite increased attention span, I usually can't read for very long without my mind wandering off. But I'm up to page 540 in Harry Potter in less than a day without any real self-imposed distractions.

Cardio was a breeze, my heart rate was much steadier than normal over a 60 minute period and pace was about 7-10 RPM faster than average without even trying or really noticing.
 
I havent noticed any heat at all really.....a bit jittery(2 caps) but VERY alert, sharp thought process
 
It will work on a low carb diet but the thermo effects won't be as noticable.

PSB Try a banana instead. Or peaches. If you're getting hungry then you aren't eating enough carbs. It clears your carbs very quickly leaving your body wanting more. You can take more Thermorexin and this will subside but it's better to just have something like yams, oatmeal or brown rice
 
Took my first yesterday afternoon and 4 shots of espresso, heart rate was ok...no headache, no nasea, no sweating...but that could be from a lack of clothes : )
Took one this morning before cardio with a cup of coffee, and I was soooooooo sleepy, I just took another before my oatmeal, so the dose was about 4 hours apart. I don't get it, I could barely finish cardio? Actually I didn't, cut it 10 min short...too sleepy. I'm not nautious or HR not out of control. I was afraid it was going to do that to me. I will have another one around 4pm. Second day and I will be on 3 pills. Hope to have some nice afta pics!

lol! I felt really nautious with ECA. I got a sample of the thermo with my yohimburn and NYC.

NYC, i didn't reall notice anything really. As far as the Thermo, i just started today and ate it with a banana.. perfectly jumpy now.. we'll see how the rest of the week goes
 
Macro - I have an 8-10 oz cup in the morning preworkout w/ECA. Then I milk another 8-10 oz cup (this is ALL Starbucks brand of course!) mid morning. Afternoon, I get a cup with either 3 or 4 shots of espresso. I was taking the oldy Hydroxycut ECA, only 4-5 pills/day though.

I ate after my second pill and the sleepys are gone. Maybe that was it?

Water is atleast a gallon. Although for some reason I didn't drink that much yesterday.

maybe low bloodsugar, so take with food (even just a banana)

and water intake should be 1 gal per 40-50kg MINIMUM
 
Started yesterday. Took one pill in the am. No jitters, no hot flashes, nothing. Took 1 more at lunch and then another at 4. Then I was like, okay so far so good, took another at 7. After the last pill I started to get a headache. The headache turned into a FUll BLOWN migraine. I couldn't go to the gym. All I could do is lay in bed. Started feeling really hot. The AC was on and the thermostat was set to go off at 74 d. So it wasn't overly hot in my house. Hot flashes came on and off for 3 hours. My face felt so hot. It felt like I just ate a jar full of hot peppers. Finally got to sleep after taking 2 tylenol PM's at 11:30.

Woke up with headache. It's getting a little better. Took 2 pills this morning. Feeling okay.

headaches are most often caused by either dehydration or elecrolyte imbalance (leading to a form of dehydration (often due to inadequate pottassium intake.. which most low carb and keto diet are seriously devoid of)
 
Macro - one question I have been wondering about. Why didn't you add potassium to T-Rex? You keep recommending it to people to help ward off dehydration...is there a reason you didn't just add it to the mix?

I made sure to drink over a gallon of water yesterday. Most of my water was during the day. After the last pill I maybe had 20 oz of water. Yes, I am on CKD, so no fruits and very minimal carbs. Should I not take it. I feel okay now. The headache is still there, but it's much better.
 
Alright! I feel like CRAP!!!!!! This stuff is going back!!!!! I have never felt more horrible in my life. I have a great tolerance for ECA's. NYC did nothing to me. I should have stuck with it. Maybe I can trade with my husband. He just bought some NYC. Maybe this stuff will work better for him. As for me, no way will I EVER take this again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


BIG, BAD HEADACHE!!!! Stomach is killing me!!!!!!! I feel so crappy that I may have to eat a peice of bread to absorb the acid in my stomach. If I do that, than I will knock myself out of ketosis. This was not a good idea for me!!!!
 
You're absolutely right. It's a very bad idea for you to be using Thermorexin. CKD diets are for the average person who does not train. Not for weightlifting athletes. If you are going to abstain from eating carbs then you shouldn't use any thermogenic, even NYC won't be as effective without carbs and neither will your training. Can you honestly say you can train as well or as hard without carbs or even think as well without carbs? I'll bet you can't. These super low carb or no carb diets have no place in an athlete's life.
I would rather have to diet a few more weeks and keep my strength and LBM by eating carbs (and using Glucorell R) than lose muscle while I shed fat without carbs.
 
Actually there are quite a few of us on CKD here. The first 2 weeks was awful, but now, I feel amazing! I have made some wonderful gains in training. And finally busted out of a plateau. I only plan on doing this until the end of the summer, then I will start bringing the carbs back slowly. I am hoping to gain some LBM over the winter.
 
A bit more. My wife is now taking 2 a day both at the same time in the morning. I don't know if there should be a couple of hours in between just to even out the effects. She learned a good lesson a while back. Taking Trex 1 hour after eating 2 pieces of cake is not a good thing. Even though "the cake was really good" Well the diarrhea went away right after she ate some chicken nuggets.

Unfortunately I can't post results. First we only had a measuring tape and no scale. Now we have the scale option but the measuring tape is somewhere to be found. But 1 thing I can tell you. All her clothes are practically dropping off. Everything she wears has become a little too big. Her vacation starts on Tuesday and we'll start a month long intensive exercising period. Hopefully there'll still be some summer sales left.
 
Down 3 lbs in 2 days. Don't feel the heat most do, but am more "fidgety" and have an inability to sit still. Always feeling like I NEED to go do something. Feel unproductive when I am not doing SOMETHING. Which is VERY good seeing how I am in graduate school and have loads of work to do - and am typically a terrible procrasinator.

I control my food intake, not my belly. I am constantly thinking about food though, which is pretty much par for the course with me though. Not hungry, but can eat no problem.

Sleep is fine, I am EXHAUSTED at night. Fall asleep no problem, but woke up this AM a few times wishing it was time to get up so I could start my day. Weird, because I love my sleep! WIll take my last dose 30 min earlier today so hopefully this doesn't happen again.

Drinking almost 2gal of water a day, can easily take on empty stomach. It clears my carbs FAST. Entered a carb-depleted fog after my 2nd workout yesterday, and I am not on a real low-carb diet (about 100g). Will allow myself a little more today, just will have to break out the Glucorell-R too!

Day 1: took 1, felt fine
Day 2: took 3 about 3-4 hours apart
Day 3: took 4 about 3 hours apart (will stay here for a little bit, not brave enough to try 2 at a time yet!)

So far, so good! Will keep updating with my weight loss as I go.

Ive been on for a week now. Started out taking 1 A DAY THEN 2 A DAY THEN 3 A DAY ALL 4 HOURS APART. my diet over last weekend wasnt so good so i cant really judge results yet however....yesterday i took 2 PILLS UPON WAKING and ate a bowl of rice chex w/skim milk and a banana. I FELT HORRIBLE ALL MORNING UNTIL I ATE A CHICKEN SALAD AT LUNCH. i mean i was sick to my stomach, felt tiired and anxious at the same time, headrushes and my heart was pounding!! wow i wont be doing that again! when i take 3 a day 4 hours apart i feel almost no side effects. so i will stick to that.
I am "feeling" leaner after starting back to beter eating this week. I havent had any hot flashes or any hunger suppression tho.
