theories on sleep

i was wondering about sleep patterns and if u can train ur body to be completely refreshed on a certain amount of sleep. or is it calculated based on body composition and nutrients.... what gives?
 
Excellent question! I can never figure it out. It never seems to matter how I eat or how much I sleep or what I did in the gym that day or week. I can never get a system down to where I wake up refreshed every morning. Maybe it's just because I hate my job and at times feel no reason to go. Anyway my workouts range on a scale of 1 to 10 from a 0 to an 11 at times. The times I feel the best I do the worst and the times I feel terrible I have max effort days.
