LOL. Now the 20 lbs in 6 mo looks more reasonable.Synpax said:I'm also in the midst of a 1-test cycle.
A few things here:
1) Technically, this isn't your first cycle if you are currently running 1-test (a steroid, albeit a legal one). Your gains with a future cycle will not be as good as they would be for a true first cycle. Your first is always your best chance at gaining mass.
2) disregard advice that says cortical steroids are in any way helpful. Sure, they are anti-inflammatory so your knees and joints won't hurt as bad but they are also catabolic and will catalyze the LOSS of LBM. Translation, they will make you feel better in the short run but will ruin you in the long run (no pun intended).
3) Whether or not you gain mass or lose BF is 90% controlled by your diet. Steroids help but they aren't magic. If the diet isn't there, you won't get anywhere.
4) Stay away from sust, deca or EQ if you may be tested. Those steroids can linger in your system at detectable levels for months or even years (before all you guys jump on me for naming sust, consider that it does contain test undecanoate, a very long lasting ester).
5) I would stay away from winny (winstrol). It has a reputation for drying out your joints, causing joint pain; not a good thing for a runner.
As others here have said, I would wait a year to get into AS so that you can build a better base and learn your body's limitations. If you are determined to use AS however, I would stick to relatively short acting compounds like maybe 50 mg ed test prop along with maybe 100 mg eod nandrolone phenyl prop. Eat a cutting diet high in protein, moderate in carbs and low in fat and workout on a 3 or 4 day split with moderate weight and high reps. Don't forget your cardio 3 to 4 times a week.
I think this would lend itself more to a loss of BF and maybe a little gain in LBM and increased strength. You don't want to blow up to 250 lbs if you want to be a competitive runner.
Don't neglect your post cycle therapy. There are many theories around on the boards for that so look, read, and choose carefully.
