the funny thing is it's the republicans/conservatives mainly pushing this crap. the government does'nt realize they are the main cause for the things happening over the drug war. because of it prices are sky high, demand is high and thus the two breed crime. plus our tax payer dollars are going to funding of military and training of columbian nationals to fight the drug lords in that country. not to mention the cops are always busy with minor drug related crimes that they are being pulled away from doing things to help prevent and even control real crimes like rape, armed robbery and so on. our prisons are overcrowded with minor drug offenders. treatment, education and decriminalization will work much better than encarceration and this silly drug war, not to mention be much cheaper too. i'm not saying it's all republicans and conservatives, some democrats are pushing it too, but my stance is decriminalize marijuana, not the hard stuff like crack and coke, and slap a fine or community service on to it if you feel some sort of punishment is neccessary. things won't change, as long as this myth about marijuana being harmfull keeps floating around. what ever happend to live and let live, if ya don't like it don't do it.

All those commercials really annoy me. Theres an old saying "you can prove anything with statistics". I saw one where it say 2 out of ever 3 car accidents in which the victims "were tested for drugs" tested positively for marijuana. Now Im sorry but I dont think its routine to test for drugs unless they have reason too or evidence to prove it necessary, so obviously their probably gonna find something. Also there was a commercial a long time ago where they showed a brain wave plot of "a normal 14 year old" it was bouncing around as it should. Then they showed another plot and said it was from a 14 year old that smoked pot and it was barelying moving. The thing they didnt say was that person was in a COMA!
