The way Ali moved around in a ring

Incredible. Flawless.

Yes. I never liked him because of his arrogance and disrespectful way of treating his opponents. I admire his courage though. I think Tyson in his prime would have taken him, but I could be wrong.

Tyson in his prime would have charged across the ring from the opening bell, muscled Ali into a corner or up against the ropes, and unleashed a flurry to KO him right quick....just like he did to everyone else during that time. Tyson's incredible speed and power in his prime cannot be overstated.

He was a thrill to watch. I kind of think that would happen also. Ali had trouble with Joe Frazier and Tyson is a bigger, stronger, faster, more ferocious Joe Frazier.

Ali had trouble with Frazier after the forced layoff. In his top fighting form, Ali beats Tyson everytime.

Worst case scenario, because he was such a smart fighter, even if he lost the first fight, he would win the next two.

There was no athelete like Ali before him, and no one since in terms of star power total package: speed, power, ability, looks, charisma, smarts.

every Ali fight was like the Super Bowl. Makes you tear up when you see him now......

I disagree. I watched several of his fights. Tyson would have knocked his ass out IMO as I don't know it all like yourself. Foreman would have ko'd him as well if they had fought a second time.

Well......while Tyson want in his prime.....

Lewis/Tyson is as close to a ALi/Tyson match up as there will ever be....

well....Ali/Frazier comes to mind as well

Why does everyone think Ali was the greatest? COuld it be because he had such a big mouth and procliamed it everywhere he went so people believed him because they are sheep. THe man did not have that much power Geoboy. He was not a KO artist. He lost some fights as well. He was great, no doubt, but not the greatest.

you are relating ko power and greatness.....

3x heavyweight champion who missed 3-4 prime years due to being stripped of his license

The 3 time champ does not make him the greatest, Holyfield is a 4 time champ and I don't consider him the greatest heavyweight ever. This will be something you can debate forever.
