I always enjoyed Darkhorse comics.

I never liked Darkhorse for some reason.

I collected more than I read, but I enjoyed DC's Vertigo (any with Giaman esp.) and a number of B&W/independents, like Thieves and Kings, and most notably, Jeff Smith's Bone series, which I have been an avid fan for years, and got the chance to speak with him at the last year of the Chicago Comicon before it changed names to the less prestigious Wizard World.

I was an avid collector of Aliens Vs. Predator. I never really got into DC even though Batman is prestigious.
