The Ten Biggest Frauds In Bodybuilding

BIG CAT: This guy is such a nobody he almost doesn't deserve mention. But he's gotten some attention lately as the new "drug guru" Once you ralize he's an 18 year old kid who lives at home and has never used steroids, it puts everything into a new perspective.

Who the hell is Big Cat? I have never encountered this one.

And I wonder just how many gallons of synthol that Rick Valantino shot into his arms anyway to get them that mishapen...anyone ever buy his video to find out his "secret" to the biggest arms in the biz? That should be entertaining!

I contacted one of these gurus to share some information about exotic products, and he actually asked me for a source!

wwhhhahahaha

BTW, I will not tell you which one it is.

Are these people just people that you don't like or you honestly feel they are "frauds"?

Yeah, I don't like frauds.

I also don't like Pat Anold, but I wouldn't call him a fraud (BTW, we've somewhat managed to be civil to each other lately.) I think he's sincere, I just think he put out a bunch of crappy products. In fact, they all suck except for 6OXO IMO. And that one is ridiculously expensive.

I have nothing against Rick Valanino, but come on.

The other four. (Companies don't count. Maybe we can make a seperate list though)

Cy Wilson. Another "made up" expert. He has some knowledge by his concepts are beyond idiotic.

Bill Roberts: The one time whiz kid has been proven wrong more often than not. He also called Biotest a bunch of lying clowns and now he hawks crappy supplements for them. How pathetic is that? Inventor of Androsol which could have been called "Instant Impotence" and Mag 10 which is subtitled "Who Needs Hair?" Recommended Vitex for estrogen management without realizing it's an anti androgen.

Scott Connely: Okay,he's old news, but this former anesthesiologist used to give clinics where he told people MetRx was the only food they needed and if they didn't believe it they were stupid. He also said he had no interest in making a protein drink and that MetRx was such a remarkable discovery he presented to the board of directors at some medical clinic and that's how it got recognized. What a load of shit. The guy worked for the Slim-Fast company. He and Bill Phillips hatched the scheme to convince bodybuilders MetRx was a super engeneered food. (I can't believe that worked) Well, it did taste pretty good compared to what was around at the time. I guess you can include The owner of Cybergenics in here as an dis-honorable mention. (His name escapes me at the moment).

And lastly, most strength coaches. I've mentioned this before. They try to teach people how to get as strong as them but if they were honest they'd just say "Have my parents." I've interviewed a lot of stregth coaches and none of them ever said they were a weak kid who got strong using a particular method. They were all strong from the start.

As much as I think Swolecat is a huckster who charges too much and could use a lesson in class, I wouldn't call him a fraud. And Larry Scott? Can't diss the original Mr. O. If he came out with a lousey product , well...I honestly believe that HE believed in it. Larry's a good man.

I'm sure I'm missing a few others.

That's very naive of you. (unless you know him personally)

Ulter, care to elaborate? Many people are against Derek, yet I never knew why.

What about those guys who were selling Equigen, Horse GH, and saying it was hGH on the now defunct Renegade board.

Derek will put just about anything in a bottle and sell it to you. And he does. Just ask the 12 people who sued him for selling them a product that hospitalized them and shut down their livers. He's had more products pulled by the FDA than anyone I know.

See what you did. Now he'll file a law suit, one of my brothers will have to answer it and get it thrown out, and I'll owe them a lunch.
