New York City settles for $7.15M in Sean Bell police shooting

the verdict came down that his family gets 7mil out of it.

I'm having a hard time, after reading all the articles I can find from the time of the incident foward, seeing how this is the end result.

One thing I cant get over is the ignorance in the general public regarding how quickly 50 rounds can be fired between 3 people. Even worse are the accusations that one of the detectives was carrying an ''automatic pistol''. A glock 26 is far from automatic.

3 people properly trained on the use of handguns can put down 50 fairly accurate rounds within seconds if need be.

What were the ethnicity of the 5 officers involved? Has their been any indication whatsoever that the officers were racist prior to the event or during / after it?

Even the article you linked is biased in favour of the civilians i.e. "unarmed black groom gunned down", as if a car isn't a potential weapon.

How was $7million determined to be "suitable" compensation?

You OBVIOUSLY haven't taken socialist indoctrination 101... Racism is about power because race is just a tool to advance a political agenda....and black cops are stooges corrupted by the white power structure to impose their imperialist will..it has nothing to do with race, it's about power and control. Notice the dichotomy...race doesn't matter if you are on one side of the political spectrum but it's a talking point for the other. As a practical matter, being black is about as relevant as having blue or brown eyes and most Americans "get it" but there is a sub-culture that thrives on the myth of America as a racist country...Al and Jessie...they piss on the legacy of the only reverend I actually respect...Martin Luther King jr....
