The sad reality of coming off a high-dosed Androgenic cycle

Wow...all the best JA. You need to make things up to yourself and your family now. Good luck.

Thanks to all of you who posted on this thread. Today is the first day I feel somewhat normal except for the sleep deprivation and floating anxiety attacks throughout the day. I think there's a valuable lesson to be learned from this debacle, especially for me and that is to know your limitations. The more AAS one uses the more pronounced the side effects become and more likely one is to self-medicate and play doctor. The substances I chose to use were a big mistake.

I only hope that other people were able to see that there is a direct connection between high dosed cycles and the use of Rec Drugs - at least for me. It became easier and easier for me to rationalize and justify the use of Rec Drugs as I got further and further into the cycle.

Nelson's short cycle approach may very well be the way to go. Who knows? Cycling is the furthest thing in my mind right now.

I think it's important that people realize whether they have addictive personalities. If you can't make it thru a juice cycle without using recreational drugs then you probably do. These people are easily addicted to anything...drugs, sex, internet, etc. In that case juicing isn't the best thing for you.
I haven't had rec. drugs in 12 years and probably haven't had alcohol in 3-4 months. I like it fine....I just can go without it at the drop of a hat.

JA, Not trying to offend here, but the post should read "the sad reality of a drug addict in active addiction"

Hope I'm not suggesting something that is more problem than the cold turkey method, but it makes more sense to me that one should go on a lower dose hrt maintenance program for a fair while rather than completely turning their life and hormonal levels upside down and all the life disturbing consequences that entails.

Wouldn't doing 175 mg/test a week for a year to get the body used to more 'normal' hormonal levels be the way to go?... maybe with some hcg thrown in periodically? Then maybe trying to taper off of that if necessary.

I personally think crashing is dangerous and unhealthy and from the sounds of it the psychological consequences are very damaging to your life situation.

A "normal" hormone level would be more like 75mg/week.

Almost exactly when taking into account ester weight.

Whether or not you approve of JA's actions up to now should be secondary to the point that we should be supporting him through it. Beating him up about things in his current state isn't doing a damn thing for him.

I agree.

However, i would most definately go cold turkey at the moment.

Dealing with issues + low test levels would not be the best of ideas.
