Have me craving for more info.

I'd love to have those gains in a years time. My body repsonds incredible when I'm strength training but I have never been able to hold on to it when it came down to cutting.

diet was great, training consistant but seems I end up losing near half of my gains or sometimes more when I bring my BF% lower.

What is the estimated number for someone that plans on training and eating (clean) to add on muscle but also has to cut for competion.

Is it normal that you lose some of the lbm in the end?

If not, I'm seriously doing something wrong.

I went from 132-148 last year, even dropped bf% in that time frame and when I cut I loss some serious muscle mass.

Of course you will lose LBM when you cut for a show.

A good rule of thumb is if that if the lbm loss is 20% or less of total scale loss - you have done well

ie - 20 total pounds lost with 4 being lbm

So I actually lost 28 lbs total, all of my calipers were done by me for consistancy but not sure about accuracy.

My starting weight adding muscle

132 @ 17%
109.56 lbs LBM
22.44 lbs Fat

148 @ 19%
119.88 lbs LBM
28.12 lbs Fat

Ending weight

120 @ 9% (Chef thinks I was lower, but I don't know)
109.20 lbs LBM
10.80 lbs Fat

So basically i eneded up with the same amt of muscle.. that sucks :(
