The movie "Sideways"

My friend chose it, (I hadn't seen any previews). It was painful to sit through, very boring, entirely too much snobbish wine-talk, irritating characters, bleh!

Sandra Oh was great, but that's the only redeeming thing I could say about it.

I thought it wasn't too shabby.On the slow/boring side like you said,but I had a couple of LOL moments in it.The big fat biker dude chasing after them down the street with his weiner jiggling all over was hilarious.

lol, that part cracked me up and also the golf course, where they're coming at him in the cart and he goes yelling and running at them with the club raised, then the cart veeers off to the left.. lol..

But other than those two parts.. Not my kinda movie.

I loved this movie. The entire theater was packed even after having been out already for 4 weeks. The people were roaring so loud through most of the movie, I missed a lot of dialog though. That was the only sucky part.

The star (giamatti?) was perfect. He had so many annoying litte snobbish personality tics I gotta wonder if he's really like that.

I'm a 16 year old kid, but I thought it was a great comedy. Sometimes you get sick of the slapstick crap and want to see a smart, well-made, superbly-acted movie. This was it. I'm not a big wine guy (obviously), but just listening to Giammati talk about the different wines and stuff was strangely captivating.

Hayden Church is also great. His conversations with Giamatti are so funny and interesting...it's great.

I thought this would be some boring movie with a bunch of old-people stock market jokes (jk...kinda), but I actually found myself laughing uncontrollably throughout some parts of the movie. I NEVER laugh in movies...I mean, I kinda snicker at some funny parts but I usually never bust out laughing. However, the humour in this movie is kinda universal, a little for everybody.

I rank it as an A...a great ass movie.

I loved it. Very funny. I personally found the snobbish wine talk hilarious. Mainly because I know people just like that.
