After reading this thread title I assume Curling watched the Butterfly Effect 35 years ago.

Possibly, I turned off the Butterfly Effect about 35 minutes into it.
Too predictable.
If they had simply named it, "A darkened rip-off of A Christmas Carol" I woulda maybe watched the whole thing.

I imagine it's rare that all that happens to one person frequently.
Although the story wouldn't amount to much if it hadn't.
A key element of the movie was that Ashton Kutcher should never have been born because his show Punk'd is destroying the minds of the youth. And without demonstrating that Ashton was followed by witches in a hot air balloon was clearly outlined by all the crappy things that happened to him.
