The Most Retarded Posts I've Ever Read On EF...

Bigcracker this has been going on here for over 6 years. Guys come here to find out how they can use AS. They come as body builders to find out how to be competitive and they come as guys who want to "beat up their ex's new bf but need to get a little bigger". The reasons are as diverse as the people here.

As far as the people who come here and say "I don't want to get too big" goes they are just uniformed. They believe that taking steroids will put large amounts of mass on you regardless of your activity. A runner isn't going to put on body builder's mass. They don't train or eat like a body builder. In the 20 years of I've been in this AS world I have yet to meet the first guy to tell me he was slowed down or had diminished performance in his sport due to the mass he put on from steroids. That's ridiculous.

I'm new here, so I'm giving respect - but while I don't know the context of the "I don't want to get big" question......it seems pretty legit. As an endurance athlete I know that a lot of us are using steroids because it helps the body recover from hard efforts....has been shown to increase red blood cell production, and also maintains lean muscle. So maybe you didn't know this....but it does have other applications than just body building. Then again myabe I'm missing the point - if so...my apologies.

Well, because to "Get Too Big" requires ALOT of hard training and Heavy Eating..... If you don't do those 2 things, you won't get bigger, no matter how much AAS you use...... I think it's the frustration that us AAS users have towards the attitude that if you use AAS, you get HUGE..... Getting bigger, isn't easy even with AAS use.... Takes a lot of training and hard work to get that way.....

The "I don't wanna get too big" thing stems from a couple of things. 1st off nobody likes to fail at anything they set out to do. Therefore by saying that you don't want to see substantial results after awhile, you can soothe your own ego by saying that substantial results were not your goal to begin with. Most guys that workout have some sort of body image issues, so this type of attitude towards failure acts as a safety mechanism to protect their fragile ego. For the most part I think this is done subconciously, because the truth can be brutal when you're already uncomfortable in your own skin.

Have you ever seen some fat ass show up to compete in a bodybuilding contest-no pro tan/wearing a Speedo/poses like a buffoon? I have. Obviously some people's body images are quite different than what others see. Many even think AAS are the difference between them and Ronnie Coleman. It's this kind of blind overconfidence that distorts reality. Reality is that a number of factors such as genetics, lifestyle, diet, training, discipline, and knowledge all contribute to what kind of gains someone can expect-before the AAS card even comes into play.

Another thing about the "I don't wanna get too big" catch phrase is the fact that a majority of the guys in the gym do want to be big, yet they're having a difficult time doing so. Some are so obsessed that it's all that they care about. Whether you want to lose fat and tone, or put on a lot of size, in the beginning it's all basically the same shit. You want to increase your LBM through resistance training to spead up your metabolism and burn BF. You need to eat certain amounts of certain foods at certain times of day to fuel your workouts and aid in recovery. Slacking in any of these categories will greatly hinder your progress with or without AAS-so when you have a full time job, a family, or other lifestyle obligations that take up your time like most peeps do, it's highly unlikely you're going to make dramatic gains anyway.. Therefore by saying "I don't wanna get too big" , what you're really saying is "I don't know shit" Attaining your fitness goals requires many things that most people aren't capable of doing in the 1st place, so by worrying about "getting too big" just makes you sound like a completely uninformed moron. It's like saying you want to be wealthy, but not too wealthy, so you're only going to work part time.

Sorry if I'm being a bit harsh, but Psychology is a mofo.

I think some people just dont want to get that big. I personally would love to add 50lbs of pure muscle, but Im not going to call some dude a liar or a fragile ego'd punk because he doesent want his body to look that way.

To each his own.

The guy that said to run deca to minimize BLOAT...think it was the same guy your talking about cracker...the one that asked if protein is NECESSARY , the guy that shot up in his asscrack...the bulls nuts one...

Not every guy does want to look that way-but like you said you'd love to add 50 lbs of pure muscle-most guys in the gym feel the same way. If they didn't they'd be at happy hour slamming beers with the rest of the pencilnecks. Like you said-To each his own.

Try reading up on psychology-especially the "id" and you'll see where I'm coming from and I won't sound like such a dick.
