K
I try to 'learn' from my drug experience.
ahh... that's not something you hear too often nowadays! i'm on the same boat as you though jacob, and i also happen to be majoring in neuroscience at college, so lemme help you out a bit here.
as you probably already know, ketamine is a psychedelic anesthetic which is structurally, and therefore, pharmacologicly very similar to phencyclidine (PCP). this similarity between k and PCP is not a good thing, as the literature states that "prolonged schizophrenic symptomatology" is evident with long term PCP abuse. from what research i've done on K specifically though, using it sparingly and with caution should not be harmful to your health (it IS still used as a human anesthetic on occasion).
anyway, i have personally never used K and don't think i ever will because i think the potential risks outweigh any potential benefits. what i suggest to you, if you truly want to learn from your drug experiences, are "real" psychedelics. 2-CB, and also 2-CT-7 and other such 'research chemicals' are virtually impossible to get a hold of now. shrooms (you can grow your own from spores bought over the internet), lsd, and mescaline (easily extracted from legal cacti, you can also buy over internet) are probably the most accessible psychedelics out there. and any of the three, (either lsd, shrooms, or mescaline) taken in the right dosage can give you the most intense, mind-blowing journey of your life. on this i speak from experience.
good luck with all your psychonautic adventures...
