The importance of the right trainer.....

I'm happy to see people signing up with her.....it was a real realization on my part, that after all my years of training and research, that there really was that much that I didnt know, despite what I have accomplished. In fact, I would have been much further along now if I had of bitten the bullet, and just gone to see her, but my pride got in the way, and its cost me time now....
I know of a few guys that have signed up with her for the internet training, and am really looking forward to seeing how they do, the guys I know in person that have used her have all made wicked gains...and what you learn working with her is yours to keep, thats the nice part

from what i can quickly gather, your trainer changes your routines drastically from week to week. from that i might do a similar change also to keep my muscle "thinking"
i think this could be along the line of what your trainer could be doing.

sort of, but its not a haphazard thing, there is a reason why the changes are the way they are, that cause the growth, after trying it myself for about 8 months, after watching her guys train, I still couldnt get the same results
 
Hey need..I must say you look great...I just read your entire thread in the Pictures Forum..Its really great to see a guy like your self that is still so humble. You are greatfull for what you have...and your a family man. Overall dude your amazing.

I dont know if you saw my contest pic page..but i need to drop my lats a bunch because im 6ft, and i had a lat tear 4 years ago!!(ouch)...

What does your back routine look like...You said you are big in to rows, what kind? Could you toss me a couple tips..that would be huge!! Thanks bro!

This last year, I concentrated on stuff like heavy pull downs, wide grip and parallel grip, some chins(they hurt my bi tendons), and lots of rows, everything from bent over barbell to cable, to some of the many hammer strength ones. I upped my total of sets of pulldowns/rows to around 15 sets per workout, and dropped deadlifts to once every two or three weeks as I can rep out 500lbs for sets of 10, and it never did anything for my back
 
Thanks alot Need Ill work on that. 15 sets..alone on pull downs and rows...wow..thats like 3/4 of my total sets for my work outs.

How do you feel about close grip pull downs?

I didnt start doing those until contest prep as they are in her workouts, probably very good for offseason but I never thought to do them
