The importance of the right trainer.....

I did have some trouble surrendering all control to her, as I have been at this a long time, and have accomlished a fair bit without any help....but that was the point of getting someone I knew had way more knowlege than me....made it easier to trust her with getting me where I need to go

How much more knowledgeable can you get about diet and training? Are there new secrets we just don't know about that she knows>?

to get to the top of the IFBB pro ranks like she did, you bet she knows stuff we dont. Every single guy that I know that she has trained has blown right past me in development, and in much less time than it took me to get anywhere. I've learned a ton just in the two months I've been working with her, and I've been at this a long time myself, and thought I was pretty knowlegeable

not to sound like an ass, is it that she trains you better or that she advocates GH/slin usage, more extreme cycles etc.

Are these guys natural or on AAS? I'm wondering what she can do for natural people.

her cycles are milder than what I have been running for the last year or so. She does advocate gh/slin use, but most of the guys I know using her arent using any of that stuff, and are still making way better progress than me

neo, she works a lot with competitive bodybuilders, so they are all using AAS, but of course she can do just as much with natural trainees, the concepts are all the same

sometimes I think that might be easier, as there wouldnt be any foods in the house I couldnt eat, no one eating stuff in front of me that I cant touch....but I love my familly so I guess its just a part of the game...nothing like having the baby actually put food in my mouth when I am starving, and having to take it back out again

who knows how far I could have gone with a real support system; no regrets though.

you've definitely got very solid genetics, probably no limit to how far you could have gone

Im curious. If you can do so without giving away too much of the knowledge you're paying for, what have you changed that has made the most difference? Has it been diet, gear use, or training? Im sure all of them have been revamped, but Im thinking there must have been something that you were more "off" on (that your trainer brought to your attention) than you 1st thought as you were hitting that wall on progress.

I second that

seems so far after talking to her that it was my training that was the weakest factor. My methods of training have served me well, conisdering I started at 120lbs all those years ago, but to keep growing I needed something radically different. I even tried copying her training methods as I see guys that she trains all the time, and it did help, but I still didnt make half the progress they do. Its not just about exercise selection and reps, its the way everything is cycled week to week, and month to month, its all put together in such a way that the growth just keeps on coming.

Her cycles are different too, she builds some things up slowly in your blood, adds things in, takes things out, sometimes in ways that dont make sense to me...but the proof is in the pudding, look at the pics of the guy on the first page of this thread, he put that mass on it 1.5 years with her. He had a good physique before that, but nothing like what he ended up with.

She also designs the diet around you and your size, so no need to get as fat in the offseason as I have in the past, no guesswork
