This kind of belongs in this forum, as it definitely pertains to steroids....
But recently its really struck me just how important having a good trainer can be. I was a really tough sell on this subject, as everything I have done so far, I've done on my own, and I've done okay. But I realize I have totally hit the wall as far as gaining mass goes, in this last year my doses were crazy, the amounts of food obscene, and yet somehow I may have gained 5lbs of mass if I am lucky.
Then I look at some of the people my current trainer has worked with. A buddy of mine here has been working with her off and on when he has money for years....hasnt been for a while though, he has some coin now, so is back with her, and a few months later her is walking around at 275lbs.....at 5'8" for christ sakes, same height as me, and my fat ass only got to 260lbs. He is using way less steroids than I did as well....and he's still growing. I need to get to the nationals before this guy ever steps on stage again, I dont wanna face him till I've had a year or more with her.
Then there is another guy I know in town here. He was a big boy, 6'1", and started around 235lbs when he started working with her. A year and a half later, he was 288lbs, and still had abs and vascularity....He was on stage for his first show a few months later at 237lbs....thats 237lbs for his first friggin show, and if he had of brought his legs up, probably would have been 250lbs or more.
I really wish I had of gotten this through my head sooner, that I dont know half as much as I thought I did, I would have been much further along now.....
Just for laughs, here is are a few pics of my buddy that was 237lbs for his first show, after less than 2 years with her
BTW, he is the one on the right
