Well I'll be damned. After reading the "truth about AR" it turns out I played rugby with him on the North East College All Star team.
He says he is such a great athlete, his ass was not even the starting hooker on that team!! The 1999 team started was a fella from UCon named Matt Schraeger (sp?). The coach let good ol' superstar AR start one game. He was getting his ass smacked so hard he was replaced at half time and didn't see another minute of play. The 2000 team, which I was not on, but one of my good friends was the starting Prop so I went to most of their games and kept up with the team, he confirmed for me a kid by the name of Dane Franklin was the starting #2.
And as far as going to New Zealand to play, ALL of us were invited to go and "train" with some of the teams there. the problem is you had to pay your whole way.
What little respect I had for AR is now totally gone since I found out who he REALLY is!!

What's your problem with that? I played at a level that less than 14 players each year at my position can claim to have....And I think out of 6 all star games, I started 2-3, though I forget now...basically half of my career in the all stars, I got to start...twice I came in after the half...
I was also the first player from my Union to make it in many years, and one of the only second division players from there to ever make it.
Truth be told, I never regained my form after trying out and playing for the Mens Club level all stars, where I blew my knee out on turf.

Whatever...the thing about people "In the know" is that there's really not too many people here "in the know" about the upper levels of the industry. If you don't know the owners of the biggest sites personally, and the large nutritional companies, and biggest UG's...then how can you be in the know?
At the lower levels it's all just gossip about us at the top.

You're so "in the know" and so well versed that you never even made mod here, and another member was promoted above the COBs to mod status. That's how in the know and respected you are.
