Chronicle looks gai as fuck actually
The Grey was amazing. Roger Ebert wrote in his review that at a film festival, he walked out of a movie after 20 minutes because he was still so affected from seeing The Grey before it. He felt he couldn't do the second movie justice because he couldn't devote his full attention.
After seeing it, I know exactly what he meant. The movie immerses you in the experience along with the survivors so by the time it's over you really feel like you've been through a ringer. It moved me to tears once, other men say 2 or three times. Strangely it doesn't seem to affect women the same way.
I don't know what other movie I could compare it to; it really was a different experience.
