I went to the track at the high school wednesday
I like to run that course because there's hills and it's different than going around flat ovals
so many of the high school kids are out there as it's 2:30 or so and school is in session
after I finished my run I walked the track one revolution

I had to deal with that everyday and more while coaching and teaching at a private Christian school with them all wearing their school skirts!
 
at the age of 16-18 the girls aren't wrapped up so much in the social politics

What was hard for me when I first got a job coaching at a private school I was still in college and had just dated a girl from that HS the year before. She was 18 when I was with her but she was still in HS. Well when I went their to coach she had alot of friends that were still in HS and they use to mess with me hard! When my daughters were in that age range, they would bring their friends to the house, several made comments about how hot i was, then my daughters would say "that's my Dad" funny..

And if you have daughters, and you are a younger dad (like i was) there comes a day when they won't hold your hand walking in the Mall.. One of my daughters had a big fight with her bf because someone had seen her at the mall holding hands with some guy.. it was me..kids, what ya going to do.

But back to respect, fear is respect also, both my kids had to let me meet anyone they were going on a date with (yea, i was that guy)...seems i would always make it home from the gym just in time to meet with them... hahaha.. they put a stop to that...
