The Gay Content in Movies Gets Really Old

I mean that have got to have some gay or gay sub theme in every movie these days. The one I am talking about is "Lone Star State of Mind" which was really funny but sure enough one of the characters is gay but scared to ask someone out. I mean it didn't add any humor to the movie but they just had to put it in there which makes me believe that Hollywood must be getting a kickback from the gay lobby.

I mean what is the deal with all the gay stuff in movies?

If that is a problem for them why don't they have gay movies for gay people and straight movies for straight people. That would suit me just fine. Btw it doesn't bother you to see gay stuff in movies?

Yeah! Segregation is a good idea!

Separate but equal worked really well for the US in the past.

And no, but I don't recall watching a movie, and saying, "Dammit, there's that GAY stuff again!"

Heck there is segregation now. What about BET, or all black or white proms what difference does it make? And just for the record you are talking about race segregation not sexual segregation. You yourself said you wonder if gay people get tired of seeing straight stuff. So why wouldn't they like to see all gay stuff in movies and not straight stuff.

Really? Me, my wife and my kids are constantly saying that. I think you have been totally disensitized.

BET is not segregation.

Segregation in any form is not a good idea, IMO, whether it's for black/white proms, or gay/straight movies.

Oh, and my comment about gay people? That was a joke.

I suspect that your wife and kids constantly notice it because you're a bad influence on them.

Lots of people have homosexual impulses, so basically what you are asking is for gay people to be invisible. The gay content is only token in comparison to all the heterosexual content of movies/TV.

Lets come up with a new addition to the movie rating system..

G S = General Audiences - Straight
G G = General Audiences - Gay (Gay Disney movies?)
PG S = Parental Guidance - Straight
PG G = Parental Guidance - Gay
PG-13 S = Parental Guidance - Straight
PG-13 G = Parental Guidance - Gay
R S = Restricted Straight (lots of tits and guys oogling them)
R G = Restricted Gay (lots of tits and girls oogling them)

NC-17 You get what you get

Invisible closet either one will do.
