The G20 protests

I am not sure how much news you will get about this so I thought I would post it here.

There have been protesters in the City of London since the weekend, and it has kicked off tonight.

One protester has died so far, but it is not entirely clear on how it happened.

I have a mate there taking pics, I will see if he will let me post some on this site.

That's bullshit!

We're fighting terrorists for their safety and freedoms and this is how they piss on us. Calling America names! If it weren't for us fucking up Iraq and our banks fucking up the world's economy - who else would huh?

btw: cops need to be careful. They'll probably get sued. Especially if the person being hit is a hispanic or blaque and it's caught on camera.

Oh wait, that's only in america. Land of pc. :)

BBC is reporting that the man in his 30s was short of breath, the police were helping him, they were being hit with projectiles, so they took him behind the police cordon.

He then died, and the news says it looks like natural causes, meaning not police brutality I guess.

The man who died was just a 47 year old man walking home from work.

The inquiry stated that he was pushed back by the Police cordon minutes before he died.

The exact cause of death has not been released yet.

UK is not as politically correct and hate cops as much as Americans do. Plus he probably wasn't black. So doubt there will be protests or marches or anything from this.

This is from the Mirror, and while it is a tabloid, it is a paper that wouldn't side with hippies.

A man who died of a heart attack during the G20 protests was attacked by police moments earlier, three witnesses have claimed.

Ian Tomlinson, 47, was hit with a baton and shoved to the floor, banging his head, their statements allege.

Independent police watchdogs are probing claims by Anna Branthwaite, 36, Kezia Rolfe, 27, and Amiri Howe, 21.

Ms Branthwaite claimed: "A riot officer grabbed him and hit him twice with a baton." The newsagent had been heading home when he was caught up in Wednesday's disturbances in London..

Alas, don't be so quick to believe the media. I can't picture a person trying to get home, wanting to cut through a mob fighting with cops first. That person would go around, or take another street.

Witnesses were probably fighting with cops too, so they're biased. 3 sides to every story.

True in most circumstances.

Then there is also video evidence.

I had heard the police had shut off the CCTV cameras in the city.

I would think that they never thought they would be use for evidence against them.

We have protests here all the time. Revolving around supreme court cases, gay rights, etc...Just not huge riot type protests.
 
G20 is that new gatorade and the powerade 0 are pissed becase they think the G20 is a scam because it still has sugar in it.
This reminds me of the "tastes great" "less filling" brawls
