The freezer trick worked!!

FYI (especially for the nay-sayers), the freezer trick worked, the cold shrunk things inside my hard drive enough to free it up. We got all the information off of it intact. . .about 5 minutes after we finished, it got hot and locked up again.

Dodged a bullet. . .mark my words. . .THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. . .I will back up my laptop every damn day!!

Thanks to all that responded to my original thread. . .even those that scoffed at the freezer.
