the thread made before warranted me to bring this one out. Please do not insult me as I am opening up a piece of my mind here.

I know it sounds like something cool but in reality it is something that scares me half to death and I wish it would go away.

I really thought I might have been going completely insane until my first GF saw the black demon that I speak of. The story I am about to write is an account of that night that I still remember like it was 5 minutes ago.

After sex I layed on top of her. She would often like m eto lay on top of her and we would rest into a nice sleep. I went to sleep. She started to whisper in my ear that something was standing in the middle of the room and staring right at her. I opened my eyes and allowed them to adjust before i turend around. I remember being scared to death and thinking that I was about to die. When I turned the figurine which was about as tall as my ceiling (8') raised it;s head and looked at me. I could make out two holes in the top of the figure like eyes. The were a darker shade of black. I immediately closed my eyes as hard as I could and stayed that way for about 30 minutes. So after that time elapse she left and never slept over again. I went back up into the room to hear or see nothing for a short time. Than the real scary shit began.

My family did not believe me so I challneged each one to spend a night in the room. It resulted in all of them staying for one night and than coming back down. Here is some statistics of the room;

1-sub 50 degree temp no matter how hot the house is.
2-knocking and scrathcing from inside cedar closets.
3-sliding closet doors opened when i wake.
4-personal objects moved in room when not there.
5-attic light flashing on and off.
6-dark shadow figurines.
7-noises that you never hoped you ever hear.

I do not live in that house anymore. Noone goes into that room. My cats do not even go into that room. I have seen the dark figurine and experienced more than I am willing to accept sometimes. It is very hard bc not everyone goes through it. Most peopel would knock me down and call me a liar or say that I am making it up. Truth is, I sleep about 3-4 hours a night at BEST. There is a definite reason why. I can only sleep when I pass out. Could you sleep?

so you see the figurine outside the room or it has just affected you that much that you cant sleep much anymore?
 
What about the other times you saw it? Does it only move things around when you arn't paying attention and/or out of the room or have you seen it do such things?
 
ive had frightful "waking" dreams where i was paralyzed and one of those little skinny white guys with the big eyes were at the foot of my bed or peering over the side of my bed. its happened to me 3x at different places each. each time i couldnt scream, move, just make a slight peep eventually.

I have seen it over and over. It is hard to sleep when you experinece what I experience on an almost daily basis.

Nate,

I am talking about my eyes open and seeing things that are right in front of me. I am not talking about night terrors. I could relate to those though. My dreams are something out of the "your worst nightmare" book.

I have seen it so many times I couldn't give you a number. I have acknoledged its existance so the sightings have been less startling over time. I can actually see the graudal progression of the shadows now as opposed to the BAM here is kind of thing.

i wouldnt consider it a night terror, i opened my eyes after nearly going to sleep, to see what i saw.
 
This might sound like even more bullshit but after being tormented by such things for years I figured out a way to drive them off.

I have used my mind to strike at them before. I used my will to get ride of the fear and become very angry. I just started thinking “I don’t even care anymore. I dare you to come to me mother fucker!”

I don’t know and don’t care if I was just using a form of reverse physiology to control my imagination or if I really was scaring them off with an angry, arrogant burst of physic energy. What ever I did worked. I don’t have problems with them anymore.
 
im convinced that there is something in my room, i see images all the time, but it does not seem hostile so i deal with it.
 
i did a search on shadow people, pretty interesting stuff. much like you describe. some even rounding corners to run into a shadow. said it was solid as a person.
 
im not particularly afraid of what i saw, i just want to understand it. it didnt give me time to calm down before it was gone.

I have had a small experiance with these shadow ppl one time. i was on the phone in my living room a few yrs ago and was looking at the hallway and from out of no where this human like shadow figure walks from the bathroom door into my bro;s room. Both doors where closed and i was home alone. I didnt know wat the fuck it was but i was spooked so i left the house to go to tell my mom about it since she knows all kinds of shit about that stuff.

It seems like where ever i live the house has some kinda of 'ghosts' or somethin in it. Really strange.
 
Or you could do what i did and call it out and start cussing at it and challenge it to a fight if it does not quit scaring my kids. Worked somewhat for me.

I've seen the evil one, devil, satan, whatever you want to call it. I was dreaming and I was jolted awake. There sitting in an old wicker chair that use to be in our kitchen years ago, in front of the bedroom door about 10 ft. away, was my deceased granny. Only it was not her. It was the most evil thing I have ever seen. It looked at me with totally black eyes and I heard a voice say, "My name, I am going to barbecue you full of holes, forever, forever my name." I screamed out as my heart was pounding out of my chest and I was trying to catch my breath, "You're not my granny, get out of here." Then I suddenly came to and I woke my wife to tell her what happened. Sheer terror.
 
My brother-in-law had a similar experience. He was going through some bad depression, and started cursing out loud. He cursed God, he cursed life, he said he wasn't afraid of anything - he could kill anything. Shortly after that he saw a black figure sitting on his staircase. It said "None of your weapons can harm us", then it vanished. About a week later he got in a car accident with an 18 wheeler. He wasn't seriously injured, but it sure made him think.

He was always a very skeptical person about supernatural events before this.
 
Ok, I'm sorry...but there has to be a normal explanation for stuff like this. Mass hysteria or something.

I used to get shit like this all the time as a child, demon posessed dolls, evil spirits (never saw them, only felt the terror from them, got the feeling of them watching me, like they were right beside me). Noises from the basement kitchen, often in my dreams I would try to go to the kitchen and see what it was, and I would end up inside the cupboards, and in the walls all mangled and shit.

1 experience, like what you would see in the movies. I woke up, saw lights coming in through the door opening, noises. 3 aliens come around my bed, I was paralyzed, cant scream, cant move, cant do anything, just lie there in terror. I woke up in a few hours, everything was normal.

I always figured it was cuz of a shitty childhood, and an overactive imagination.

Dont know what your going through or seeing, but I know the feelings 100%
 
This is how I look at it having a Christian background and having the understanding of the good book. a lot is cut and paste from accurate teachings.

Satan started out as an angel of light, the highest of the angels; his name is Lucifer, created by God. Just as God has given us free will, He also gave the angels free will. I personally believe that ghosts, spirits, shadow people etc are the same demons that were kicked out of heaven with Satan thousands of years ago, and still roam earth today. People believe one third of the angels fell with Satan, but we don’t know how many angels there are. Could be thousands, could be millions. All I know is when I saw that demon (shadow person)The presence was defiantly unmistakable.
 
thanx for all the replies everyone. During my last post on this thread last night I began to see the shadow behind my door. It was halfway open and the kitchen light was on. My roommate was asleep. A shadow kept blocking the light source from entering my room and it became obvious. I went straight to bed from there and closed my eyes. I opened them, 5 minutes ago.

The only explination is that there has to be more information. For some reason or another I have this curse or gift to experience this shit. Sometimes like right now I am really tired of it and I want it all to stop.

EVERYWHERE I have gone things like this have happened. When I lived in Europe was when it was at its most intense. Those stories andexperiences are still being evaluated by psychics.

I had some great stories I wanted to share, but I am too scared... I wished I never read this thread, it takes me back in time, back in Russia when some strange things had happened I was a part of. 15 years later I am still terrified of anything that has to do with dead, spirits, ghosts, still sleep with a light on when alone in the house and will never watch a scary movie...
But here is the best part... I am dating a mortician!..

Sorry you're being tormented by this Hammer. You haven't said anything about physical harm to anyone though. So, why be scared of it?
 
I have a demon that lives in the crack of my ass. It comes out at the most opportunistic times in order to make me look like a fool and embarrass me and gross everyone out in sight. This usually happens while standing in the lobby of a building or in a crowded elevator. It's a nasty little booger I tell you.

anyway polish; i saw one of those too when i was a kid, turns out my mother had seem the (exact) same one years before i was born. the idea that someone posted about trying to take a picture might be a good idea...though i might go insane when i see the picture LOL. there was a thread about this a while ago with some good information, you might wanna run a search bro.

Not really sure how to comment on this thread. That is some very scary stuff. I could not even imagine.

I wouldn't give a shit if it hasn't caused any harm, I still would not want to wake up with an 8' tall beast staring me down.

Have you tried to speak to it? I'd piss my pants and run from the room screaming like a little girl if I saw something like that.

Hammer- If it is following you around there has to be some purpose for it. Try communicating with to see what it wants. Just because something feels ill doesn't mean it isn't a messenger of good. Also you can do as I did and the ancient celts and tattoo protective symbols all over your body. I feel safer in the world now though I haven't had an experience exactly like yours.

Hammer, I was about to ask if you still live in that house, evidently you do.

I also see that you have been seeing this "spirit" for a long time. Do you see other spirits or ghosts as well?

I am being dead serious here. I really don't beleive in these things, but I will offer this up as some serious advice.

I was watching a Discovery channel show about a family in GA that had similar hauntings. The "ghost chaser" in this particular instance believed that the mother and daughter in the family had a 6th sense that could detect and draw spirits.

He basically told them that they are stuck with this 6th sense, and it would attract spirits for the rest of their lives, and that they would have to live with it.

I would suggest that you try to find a paranormal investigator, and have them come out to see what's going on in your house. If you've been experiencing these visitations since childhood, you may not be able to do anything about it.

Seriously, get some professional, investigative help on this one!
 
Yeah, try talking to it, if that doesnt work, do it the ol fashioned way, attack it heh.

That helped me out when I was younger anyway.

Do all these things still happen in the new locations? (1-sub 50 degree temp no matter how hot the house is. 2-knocking and scrathcing from inside cedar closets. 3-sliding closet doors opened when i wake. 4-personal objects moved in room when not there. 5-attic light flashing on and off. 6-dark shadow figurines. 7-noises that you never hoped you ever hear.)

Do you ever go to any other places (out of the ordinary), read things, or see things that seem to "resonate" with the experiences? (Basically things that remind you of it, for no obvious reason)

Has it caused a change in you, in your attitudes or actions, or you life (other than being aggravated by the whole thing)?

IMO- I don't think you should confront it... I don't know that I would try to communicate either with it as it might want to stay around more... I would try to stay as even keep emotionally as possible in dealing with it...

Is your roomate totally oblivious?

heh , dude last night i wrote my post "have you ever seen a shadow demon" cause one was in my house . they are not gousts and they are as real as i am. it makes me feel alot better that im not crazy and im not alone.

PH - thats really spooky stuff. I personally have never experienced anything such as this. nor do i want to. i do believe however that there is ALOT more "out there" than any of us believe to be possible. There is more to this world than what we normally see and my guess is you are experiencing this to some degree. good luck..and keep lifting heavy!
 
I wish I wouldn't have ever read this thread. If I watch a scary movie I don't sleep well for a month.

My aunt and uncle have told me similiar stories. They live by themselves on a farm. They own chicken houses and one night my uncle was out checking them, around 12 or so, while my aunt was asleep. She woke and the shower was running and the lights were on in the bathroom. She just thought he had gotten back and was taking a shower, so she went into the kitchen to get something to drink, then my uncle comes in the front door :( They have had a lot of different occurences like these.

I've never actually seen anything, and I pray i never do, but i've been sleeping and woke with what felt like someone pressing on my stomach or legs. This has happened a few times and i never paid attention to it really until one night something was pushing on my stomach really hard. I couldn't open my eyes, couldn't breath or move. This freaked me out because i've never experienced pain from a dream. Not as interesting as the first post, but just my experiences.

I think it would be cool if the shadow people were sitting around the 8th dimension or wherever talking about seeing how freaked out they are by these "humans" they keep seeing.

Seriously though, I don't mean to make light of anyones experiences. I find this stuff fascinating and quite spooky.

plus the only reason for being scared is because of things you cant explain...its definately easier to preech than practice, but quit caring about these. two catagories, you can fight it, or you cant. if it has like x-men powers, you can try to fight it...you may lose...but so what? if that shits possible who knows what you get in your afterlife!!

but if its just like a wolf-man or something, beat that shit to a pulp, and be the end with it.

if it can fight inside your mind, which it seems to be doing now -making you see/feel things you dont like, find someoen you can talk to to deal with it, psych yourself out, your better than that thing, whats fighting in your mind???how does that affect you???if it doesnt affect your physical well being, then whats there to worry about?

and if u have a roomate, maybe put ur bed near him...i always feel MUCH stronger socially and ballsyness when i have someone with me,

the thing i saw was just a shadow. it was like a large human was walking by me that was invisable, but yet it's shadow was being cast towards the fullmoon

iv seen them like this too..... but iv also seen what looked like men in black tights or black skin.... but you could tell it was like they were useing a human form not acually human... i could see no belt lines... no eyes.... no anything

like a living shadow

I have come to a bunch of realizations over the years Becoming;

1- it happens to me wherever I go. diff't demons and spirits all related somehow.
2- I have tried to communicate telepathiclly and it seems to work. If I speak out loud it does not good.
3- my roommate is completely oblivous.
4- when i lived at home growing up we ALL experienced it but I SAW the demons. My other family members heard it.
5- my dreams vary and are not asscoiated with any of this.
6- I have never slept more than 4 hours a night on a consistant basis in my entire life so far.
7- it hasnt changed my attitude, just not able to sleep!!!!
8-objects have moved, i have physically watched objects move, i have seen light switches move, i have seen faucets turn on, shower heads move, watched stars hanging from my ceiling sway with an air tight room, witnessed a burned emblem into my mohagany chest, opening of windows, and the ever popular shadow demons blocking light sources.

Ask away if I didnt hit anything.....

I have seeked professional help for this and it has all come down to one concrete thing;

The demon looks like this;

stands about 8'
black robe over body and head
eyes dug out and I can see the dark black holes

It looks how I would imagine death.

when you communicate telepathically- does it ever "send" messages or images to you?
 
I respect your decision not to tell us. I can’t imagine how the symbol could be so threatening you don’t want to share it.

Can you at least say if it was something we would recognize such as a swastika or pentagram?

It tries to break me down mentally to see inside my head and read my thoughts but I will not allow it to. If I show fear or wekaness I am than broken down and succeptable to the consequences thereafter.

The emblem is not somehting the average person would recognize. I did not ever see the emblem before it was burned into the chest. Put it that way. I will tell you that when I had a psychic come over and look at the emblem she fell backward about four feet. She was basically swept off her feet. She did not speak english and my translator told me that it was NOT good.

This is defiantly a good reason not to want to talk about it. I have seen a few symbols from these things myself (luckily none of them have ever been burned into anything). If there is anyway you could give me a hint that would help me find out on my own I would greatly appreciate it because if I saw it I would want to know…

That being said I do feel like an ass for pushing something you don’t want to talk about, I just can’t help it.

I have lived in Europe. I have lived in 6 states as well.

It all started when I was 4-5 years old. That is as early as I can remember. The incident at the beginning of the thread was when I was 16 living in my parents house. I haven't lived there since I was 18. I am 26 now. Still, noone goes into that room, not even the cat.

this is all falling into place...almost all the lifters see these shadows....

-could be a side effect from the "gear" or whatever that cycle shit u guys take?

Thank you for sharing such a personal part of your life bro, that just sounds terrifying.

my Ghost experiences are nothing compaired to that shit. I mean a bed shaking and bad but what you saw and heard is just bad. hopefully things get better soon man.

I just wanted to add a couple things:

When the figure appeared the dog growled. The car accident actually took place 3 days after the visit. The figure was hooded and slouched over on the steps - the face could not be seen. So maybe you should be careful about confronting these things.

maybe your only option is to "except" the gift you have and the shadow...i guess fighting it keeps there around you. just a thought brotha. but if that isn't a possibility, keep fightin it brotha....your stronger than you think!! tb
 
Might sound like I'm joking but I'm not. Have you ever thought about hypnosis? Ya know like Kevin Bacon in that movie where he gets a door opened in his mind by a psychic and see's that dead chick in his house. i don't remember the name.
 
how do you feel emotionally when you see it? I used to be terrified when I saw shit like that but now when I make myself angry and try to fight it, it disappears.
