Wow . . . uuummm "soul mate" that's a tuff one . . .

I don't know if there's a real answer for it. My idea of a soul mate would probably be someone who is 'identical" in every aspect of life with the exception of looks and bloodline. Someone who years down the road will still be as interested and excited if not more so about you as you are them just the same as the day you both met.

In any particular palce you live you can find that soulmate. It takes time to fit the need of a certain vibe one gets when they find the right person. I thought I could never fall in love again and want to be with that certain person but it has happened. If I was living somewhere else it would probaly happen there as well but the point is when you have the right person who you feel is you're soulmate than thats how it should be. if someone makes you happy and full of life and there you're lover and you're friend why look for another. Soulmate equals happiness.
