Just saw it today. I thought this was actually pretty good. This is my best review of anything to date.

Just a new movie that came out. It has ashton kutcher in it, so people were dogging it a few weeks ago. I agree he usually gets retarded roles like "Hey i'm the unfortunate guy who gets his nuts kicked every ten minutes and then screams" in all his tv shows and movies. anyways, this was a serious role, and i thought it actually was good. the movie had a few somewhat disturbing parts. Not a good date movie, so i regret that I did that a bit. oh well.

Glad to see there is at least one good flick out there, other than Lotr 3. I have recently seen Cold Mountain, & Big Fish. Both are Oscar nominated, or are supposed to be, and both were horrible.
It's funny,but everyone I know who's seen butterfly effect says it was pretty damn good,even despite what a dousche-bag Kutcher is.I may have to go check it out.

Just saw it tonite, movie just about owned. I loved it. It can be incredibly depressing and disturbing, but its execution is pulled off very well. I'll also add that I couldn't stop thinking about this movie after I watched it.
see the movie regardless of what critics say. If anything, it's a conversation starter, and makes you think. Which is a whole lot more than what most recent movies will ever evoke.

i have jumped on the anti-ashton kutcher bandwagon wholeheartedly but i gotta admit this movie looks kinda good. it got terrible reviews yet didn't do too badly at the box office.
ashton is a loudmouth though he seems to be critic proof. if he could just stop showing himself down our throats all the time he might not be so disliked. that other movie he did with steve martin was a hit too.

Movie was good, thought about it for days afterward. I think Ashton has the makings of a good actor, he just needs to ditch the annoying slap-stick shit. Lots hate him he's tagging a naughty milf...

I was wrong. And the movie is played out so well that you barely notice its him. I think he was perfect for the part really.

That movie was fucking *GREAT*.
If you haven't seen it, see it. Yes, Ashton is a douchebag, but he does great work in this movie, and you will be talking about this movie and thinking it through for hours if not a few days.

I too was expecting this movie to be a "beastboy", but it actually turned out to be a very good movie. Even for the first 45 minutes or so I was thinking what the hell is this about? Why all the gloom and darkness.
