Lol at this guy in retrospect...do you guys remember this clown? def top 10 biggest busts. I thought he was such a badass back in the day

LOL..just shows the importance of marketing and image management over skill, that guy was SO overhyped. BTW, anyone remember that Notre Dame quarterback who was supposed to be the second coming of Joe Montana but totally sucked at the college level?

I'll never forget that game when Blockhead Bosworth met up w/ Bo Jackson head to head. Bo fucking run over him as if he were a red shirt freshmen :lmao:

His name was I believe Ron Powlus, from Berwick, Pa kind of like a football factory of pa. It is a shame, he never really came close to the hype that surrounding him.

He was awesome in Stone Cold. One of the best action movies ever made. Seriously -- watch it. The shootout bloodbath scene at the capital house at the end of the movie was amazing.

Boz will be remembered more for Bo than for Boz. Bo got hit harder than a freshman who just found out he knocked up some chick at his first college party.

He was the shit back in the day when he was at OU, but after that, the success and money blew his head up. This guy still shows up on the sideline at big games to remember his glory days..

He got trucked by Bo Jackson and it was total ownage. I've never seen a player get owned so bad. It was one on one and Bo went through him and carried him 4-5 yard for a touchdown.

dude I have like 3 shoe boxes full of those pro set cards stored away, lmao

I played against him in highschool. We're the same age and we were in the same district. He played for Irving Macarthur High School. I don't remember him. They had another guy, an all state defensive tackle named Jerry Grumbine. He's the one I remember.

He had to have tackled me though.

That could have happened to anyone. Jackson was a very powerful runningback and when he ran into Bosworth on that play, he was at full speed and Bosworth was standing still as I remember it. Doesn't mean shit. I could truck him too if I caught him off guard.

They did cut his ass...costing them millions...nuff said.

Yeah, from what I remember, he never recovered from his shoulder injury.

Bo Jax could have run over Ray Lewis. Or Lawrence Taylor. So I can't beat up on Boz too much for that.

Didn't do too much in the pros though.

What about Reggie White???

Funny story about Reggie White. Aikman talked about how he rolled out on a play and then took off towards the sidelines because he saw reggie coming and he thought he wouldn't have to worry about Reggie chasing him down because he is 300lbs+ guy, but Aikman said Reggie chased him down and cleaned his clock. That's when Aikman said, "Wow, the NFL is a whole new different league. When you have 300lbs+ chasing you down, you know you're in a different a league."

As for L.T., he is a NFL legend and to me there wasn't anything he couldn't do. I'll put my money on L.T. to stop Bo one on one. Both going at each other at full speed. O man, what collision.

There's that ESPN show called Top 25. They counted down the biggest busts of all time. Mandarich, Bosworth and Leaf were all top 5 I think.

the spiked muttel. Fuggin sweet. Didn't he have whitewalls too? Ya know like 2 inches shaved bald above his ears? Dude at my work has em. With a skullet. Bald on top, whitewalls, and the mullet.

How about when the JETS took Blair Thomas before the Cowboys took Emmit Smith?

How long did Barry Sanders last in the draft? I remember they were saying that he was too small.

Brian Bosworth...

He was the first person/celebrity I had a crush on when I was a kid. Back then he was my dream guy..."blond hair green-eyed football player with a bad boy persona and arrongant attitude"... What else could a girl want?!? :)

Alright...stop laughing....I have been doomed ever since...
