Boy, never knew so many of us were fans of the "bar".....maybe I should try it, but I think it's better to stick with the MRP......obviously if REAL food is out of the ?
Detour bars are very very good, I really try to avoid using bars for protein sources, but try to use them as a cheat meal, rather than a snickers or other junk foods. I used to be a candybar phanatic, so Detour bars, even though there not the best choice for protein, they make for a healthy cheat snack. I also just seen that EAS makes a 'carb sense' Cookies and Cream bar. I think it had 0 sugars and have heard that it tastes awesome, I will be picking some of these up along with some Detours for my weekend camping trip, its gonna be really hard to stick to real food without a microwave or refrigerator.
