The Army

I am graduating from high school in May and am leaving to go to basic training in June. I'm overweight and need to lose some lbs pretty quick. I've been in the gym and lifting and doing cardio but not seeing any differences on the scale. The recruiter told me i need to get to at least 170 before i leave. I'm 197 now and I have a long way to go. Any advice on how to drops that weight before June?

How much cardio and for how long, that damn recruiter was probably just throwing out a weight that sounded good to him don't worry about that 170 shit I was in the Army to. If I can ask why the Army? You will have a much better life in the Air Force or not going to the military at all.

I was in the army to and if I could give you anny good advice it would be to join the airforce living conditoins are way better in the airforce.but if it must be the army her is my advice.run bro.run 5-7 miles a day and it wont matter what you eat youll lose wate like crazzy.I eat like a fucking pig and still lost 70lb in three mounths from running evry day.

hey bro,
once again why army. ya air force has better living conditions and what not. but marines would be a good way to go. and they're gettnig some good action right now over in the desert. well army is to. but i prefer the corp. navy isnt bad either if your looking into some of there special programs. but if your looking for just a easy going job, that pays the bills. air force would be good. but back to the loosing weight question. run run run. swimming is good to for cardio. run and keep a clean diet going. basic will take care of the rest.....well maybe. seems each year its getting to be more and more like a boy scout outing. my hats off to those who went through it years back. good luck bro. keep ur head down if you get to go over there.....oh and you said by june, so you have 10months to loose that weight...no problem..
 
watch out for those IEDs and suicide bombers. the airforce dont have them to worry about. the marines are just cannon fodder

You'll get a good taste of running in Basic. Might as well get your miles per week up as high as you can.

Don't be dissing on the Marines, peeps. Us squids need gate guards, too.
