That Ahmadinejad guy is a Douche of unimaginable proportions

Israel has never recognized the Armenian genocide and they were also upset when the UN started calling the Rwanda massacre a "genocide".

Funny how I never remember hearing of either of these at school. However the Holocaust is still burned in my head. The Holocaust, capitalized. Is it the only holocaust in the history of the world? Perhaps similar to the way the term "anti-semitism" has been made a pronoun to refer to only Jews? Weird. I wonder how it is in other countries.

ah, but therein lies the point.

he says that he doesn't believe that the holocaust happened.

but he claims that he understands that most of the western world does believe it occured.

he then goes on to argue (sic) "why should innocent middle eastern muslims (specifically, palestinians) be made to pay the price for the sins of europe?"

now you and dullboy know that it's not that simple, but it's almost impossible to argue with his rhetorical point.
the middle east has, for millenia, been the sort of place where borders and government changed hands at the point of a sword. any who were strong enough to take and hold the land, owned the land. i see no reason that this should no longer be the case. the jews took it. theyve held it. its THEIRS.

furthermore, the idea that both groups of people have a "right" to be there merely because their ancestors lived there at some point in time is so horrendously, ridiculously, and plainly illogical that a rational person has to wonder if letting the two antagonists rip each other to shreds isnt the right thing to do...since, historically, having a few family members killed tends to put things into perspective.

just do it now before every idiot and their dog has nukes, so that this particular chapter in the idiot history of the human race is fought conventionally. i dont want any radioactive dead persons ash sprinkled all over my backyward, thanyouverymuch

I'm not sure how they are paying for europes sins. The original call was to split Israel between Jews & muslims, but the muslims rejected it. And muslims kill far far more muslims and steal far more land from muslims than the jews have ever done to muslims. Sudan, Northern Iraq & Afghanistan all come to mind, ask a kurd about muslim unity. The motivation for this issue is elitism based on race & religion plain and simple, which we in the west have decided we don't want to partake in anymore. Listening to Ahmadinejad is like listening to the KKK bitch about human rights when a black person slaps a white woman after he just lynched 20 people. The government of Jordan has killed more palestinians than the government of Israel. Kuwait kicked hundreds of thousands of palestinians out of Kuwait after gulf war 1, I could go on but you get the point. They only care about jew on muslim violence and ignore muslim on jew violence and muslim on muslim violence for the same reason that the KKK only cares about black on white violence and ignores/promotes muslim on muslim violence and muslim on jew violence. Morally hollow arguments at best, evil arguments at worst.

FTR, Ahmadinejad is, to my knowledge, just a blowhard trying to build his political base. Iran is not the land of radical ayatollahs, it is a land of pissed off & frustrated teenagers & 20 somethings who hate the current system and want a liberal democracy. When president Bush and the repubs tried to pass a gay marriage ban that wasn't because they cared, it was to motivate their base who is losing support. People in the US are tired of republican politics so that was an attempt to build their base up. Ahmadinejad is doing the same thing, he is trying to motivate his conservative base in the face of constant domestic criticism for the ideaology of Iran. Hell the only reason Ahmadinejad won the election is because every moderate and liberal was disqualified.

If there is a political board I call modship.
